The RGX skin line is allegedly getting another run with the Valorant RGX 3.0 bundle, according to a prominent Valorant leak.
X account Valorant Updates posted a blurry, leaked image of the upcoming skin bundle. In Episode 3, the first RGX bundle was released, and the second one was released quickly after in Episode 4. The futuristic-looking gun skins are fairly popular in the community. Now, Riot could be bringing back the skins two years after the last RGX bundle was released.
While the leaked image shows the Outlaw, there’s still quite a bit of mystery surrounding the new RGX 3.0 skins. Here’s what we know so far.
The Valorant RGX 3.0 skin line is confirmed only for the Outlaw and a melee skin, which will be a karambit.
The Outlaw doesn’t have too many skins yet, with it being the newest gun in Valorant. This will be just the sixth skin for the gun. The RGX skin line is the most popular skin line that the Outlaw is a part of, and this new skin will more than likely be the best skin for the gun yet.
The karambit is a curved knife, which Valorant has a few of already. The community has generally liked these skins in the past, although they don’t match the popularity of the butterfly knives.
While the account didn’t leak what other skins are included, there will be other weapons in the skin bundle. Past RGX skins have already included eight guns in the game: Classic, Frenzy, Stinger, Spectre, Guardian, Vandal, Phantom, and the Operator. With the Outlaw included in the Valorant RGX 3.0 line, it’s safe to say the Marshal won’t be.
That leaves the following options available:
The past RGX skins have had three Variants included in red, blue, and yellow colors. They also have a unique animation and finisher, which is partly why the skins are popular.
According to Valorant Updates, Riot will officially announce the bundle with the next patch notes on July 16, 2024. This is presumably when the Valorant RGX 3.0 skin line will drop as well.
