Most LoL players want to be at the top of their game, but not everyone knows how to check their League champion win rate.
League calculates win rate as the ratio of games won to the total number of games played. Comparing all games featuring a certain champion can show how successful a player’s skill or optimization has been, as well as indicate areas where more practice may be needed. Win rates are really helpful when looking at them as trends. If a player’s win rate with a certain champion is decreasing, or getting less effective, they may want to consider any recent adjustments they made and look for areas to improve. Meanwhile, an increasing win rate shows that all their hard work is paying off.
Currently, there are two methods to check your League champion win rate; one through the game itself, and one through external sites.
Interested players may find it easiest to check their League champion win rate through the LoL client app.
From here, players are able to see their overall win rates as well as win rates by champion, role, and other set parameters.
For those looking for a community service or just don’t feel like booting up the League client, they may have better luck using online resources to check their champion win rate.
One benefit of searching on external websites is that players can look up the stats of others so long as they have their summoner name or user ID. They also tend to use player data from the last thirty days to determine rates.
Riot Games routinely tries to balance out champions through patch notes so that no matter who a character plays as, their win rate comes down to skill rather than overpowered PCs. Though there are several ways to improve, most of them come down to just playing more and learning on the go – and definitely not cheating.
