A television celebrity and a champion, the collection of Vi skins focus heavily on cool aesthetics and even cooler gauntlets.

Vi is best known both as a LoL champion and as a lead character in Netflix’s Arcane. Originally debuting back in 2012, Vi has become a fan favorite for her ability in-game to demolish any enemies in the jungle with massive gauntlets and deadly mythic weapons. Her cool designs and popularity beyond League certainly help.

Here are all of Arcane’s Vi skins in League of Legends, from 2012 to the present day.

Vi has eight different skins that are generally available in the League shop. They range from cop to criminal to lovestruck high schooler.

Original Vi

Release date: December 19, 2012

Cost: 880 RP

If someone had told child Vi that she would end up being a warden in Piltover, she probably would have hit them. Vi has always been a reckless and hot-headed Zaunite. However, her survival skills and humor lend themselves well to maintaining communication and peace in both regions. And hey, at least Vi got to keep the hextech gloves.

Neon Strike Vi

Release date: December 19, 2012

Cost: 975 RP

Neon Strike Vi released concurrently with her original skin. While not a lot of detail is known about this skin’s backstory, Vi looks almost like a superhero. Or perhaps supervillain. Who can say?

Officer Vi

Release date: October 29, 2013

Cost: 975 RP

In her officer skin, Vi has gone full cop, though she hasn’t given up some of her more destructive ways. The department finally managed to pair her up with a suitable partner, a keen-eyed sharpshooter, to help with enforcing cease and desists. Even back in 2013, Vi and Cait were blatantly flirting.

Debonair Vi

Release date:August 5, 2014

Cost: 750 RP

It takes a lot to succeed in the Crime City Nightmare Universe, but Debonair Vi has had no problems doing whatever it takes. She knows how to make an offer that no one can refuse. That offer is a broken spine, but whatever gets the job done.

Demon Vi

Release date: October 19, 2015

Cost: 1,350 RP

Demon Vi, or General Demon Vi for those who want to show respect, is a wily, dangerous creature who may be one of Vi’s most dangerous skins. Using relentless force indiscriminately, anyone looking to summon her should exercise extreme caution. And probably just not do it.

PROJECT: Vi

Release date: November 22, 2017

Cost: 1,350 RP

PROJECT: Vi hasn’t seen nearly as awful of a fate as many of the Program’s volunteers got. A Central detective, she helps maintain order like her original skin through her gauntlets and willingness to throw up a blast shield or two.

PsyOps Vi

Release date: September 3, 2020

Cost: 1,350 RP

What else is a psychically enhanced mind good for if not using it to punch better? PsyOps Vi rushes in ahead of her crew and blows anything apart that stands in her way, even decades-old bots from the Arctic ops event.

Arcane Vi

Release date: November 15, 2021

Cost: 975 RP

Arcane Vi is chock-full of backstory, from confirmation that Jinx is her sister to a criminal past and pathway to Piltover wardenship. Questions going into Arcane season 2 include whether or not she and Jinx will make up or if fans will get to see her relationship with Caitlyn develop further.

Heartache Vi

Release date: February 10, 2023

Cost: 1,350 RP

As classic as the musical Grease itself, League’s <3 universe splits itself into high school Heartthrob preps and Heartache punks who can’t keep their eyes off each other. Heartache Vi’s note to Caitlyn expresses her displeasure at feeling like a secret and a “gutter rat.” However, the note back makes it seem like Caitlyn is ready to commit. Good for them.

Primal Ambush Vi

Release date: January 24, 2024

Cost: 1,350 RP

Primal Ambus Vi is also known as a Favorclaw, a tiger-like being who lives for combat and competition. With furious fists and clawed gauntlets, she’s earned her place at the top of the food chain. Now if only she could figure out how to transcend her current power’s limitations.

Vaulted Vi skins

Skins from the legacy vault aren’t typically seen in rotation, though they may make appearances in the mythic shop at Riot’s discretion. However, it may be a while until fans get to purchase these Vi skins again.

Warring Kingdoms Vi

Release date: January 19, 2017

Cost: 1,350 RP

League’s Warring Kingdom universe asks champions to serve as warriors attempting to unify the kingdoms and become legends, and everyone knows that Vi lives for the fight regardless of the world. Her jade gauntlets can hit with denting blows that feel more like cannons, all in Azir’s name.

Heartbreaker Vi

Release date: February 11, 2019

Cost: 1,350 RP

In her second romance-themed skin on the list, Vi leaves hearts and bodies in her wake. But judging from the handkerchief on her gauntlet, she may have found a new rival or interest to fight for. Or against. Either is fine for Heartbreaker Vi.

Fans may notice that Vi is one of several champions who hasn’t yet received a prestige skin. However, with the upcoming Arcane Season 2 and her girlfriend about to get a new one, maybe Vi will get a new skin or even a prestigious look.
