Faceit players must pay up to change their nickname or purchase a premium subscription.

• Login to your Faceit account and click on the three dots next to your profile picture
• Click on View My Profile and then click on the Edit Profile drop-down and select Nickname from the options
• Click on the green Upgrade to premium icon to change your nickname.

How to buy a nickname on Faceit

Those who don’t wish to buy premium can buy a new nickname for 1,000 Faceit points, roughly $1.

If a nickname they’re looking for is not available for some reason, they can purchase it off the market if the owner has been idle for more than 12 months. However, this nickname would be slightly pricier at $5, or 5,000 Faceit points in the shop. Premium users can claim a new username for free every three months.

The idle player will still get 1,000 Faceit points if their nickname is sold due to inactivity. This is enough currency to buy a new unclaimed nickname from Faceit.
