Vyse can play with several destructive tools in her arsenal, but she is even deadlier when backed up by the best agents to synergize with her abilities.
Valorant Agent 26 has just entered the scene, and she’s already making foes cry with her thorns. While her abilities aren’t anything we haven’t seen in-game before, the metallic mastermind boasts a one-of-a-kind ultimate that guts the enemies’ chances of winning a gunfight. The game already has an initiator that suppresses abilities, and now comes a new agent that has the power to get rid of affected players’ primary weapons.
Players can get a lot out of her kit, but the team can really make a difference by pairing Vyse’s abilities with theirs. Here are the best agents to play with Vyse.
In a double sentinel setup, agents like Killjoy and Vyse can team up to bring nightmares to their opponents. Much like Vyse, Killjoy has bots that she can chunk into corners and activate when enemies pass by them at her whim. While they can do serious damage on their own, her gadgets turn the chaos up a notch. Her wall makes running away impossible, and her molly just makes Killjoy’s damage sting even more.
Losing their guns during a team fight hurts their chances of winning the round, but adding Kay/o’s ultimate certainly makes it more painful. In fact, he is one of the best agents to play with Vyse. Kay/o’s NULL/cmd disables all enemies’ abilities, which means that in conjunction with Vyse’s, enemies won’t have anything to fight back with besides their pistols. Of course, this is provided the team can hunt them all down within the duration of the ult. If the team can track them down before Kay/o’s ult runs out, even Jett and Chamber won’t be able to do much with their abilities.
It’s no secret that Raze always teams up well with other agents. Units that throw out slowing abilities or anything that restricts movement are perfect setups for her, as all she needs to do is toss in her destructive grenades and rockets. Vyse is no exception to this synergy.
When an enemy gets isolated thanks to Vyse’s wall with nowhere to escape, Raze can toss her grenades or even pop her ultimate for a guaranteed kill. In some lucky scenarios, these two agents can wrap up the round quickly if multiple enemies get caught in Vyse’s Razorvine. Not only does this ability deal damage, but it also slows them down, making it impossible to dodge any incoming abilities. Pair that with Vyse’s flash trap and Raze’s ultimate, and there’s not much the enemies can do about it.
Breach and Vyse have a lot in common. They both have flashes that go through walls and ultimates powerful enough to clear an entire site. As a result, Breach is one of the best agents to play with Vyse. The newest agent’s flashes paired with Breach’s wall can really mess up opponents. With Breach stunning and flashing them, it’s almost a guaranteed kill. They can even combine their ultimates for an insane execute or retake. Enemies lose their weapons, and getting stunned makes landing those pistol shots much tougher. Also, Breach’s aftershock is great for flushing out enemies hiding in corners while they wait to shake off the status effects.
Vyse also has a friend in the controller roster, and she pairs really well with Harbor. Harbor’s Reckoning creates a massive pool of water, almost as big as Vyse’s ultimate. When enemies are caught in Harbor’s ultimate, it triggers geyser strikes that concuss them and mark their location with a golden trail. Combine these ultimates, and it’s a recipe for disaster for the other team. They’re left dazed, disarmed, and easy to track down thanks to the glowing trails, which let the team quickly pinpoint their location and hunt them down.
