The beef between streamers Summit1G and Sodapoppin explained

Onlyfangs guild mates Jaryd “Summit1G” Russell Lazar and Thomas “Sodapoppin” Morris are currently embroiled in drama and fans wonder what the World of Warcraft beef is about.

Both Summit1G and Sodapoppin are popular Twitch streamers and WoW players. They are currently members of the OnlyFangs superguild, an OTK Network that challenges streamers to tackle the game’s unforgiving permadeath mode. Recently, a guild member was caught cheating, sparking drama within the guild.

The one getting the most heat is Sodapoppin and fans wonder why Sumit1G blames him. Here’s what we know about the cheater and the drama the guild is currently going through because of his cheating.

Summit1G is raging at Sodapoppin because of Onlyfangs cheater

Summit1G is angry at Sodapoppin because another WoW player and Onlyfangs member, Sequisha, broke guild rules and was effectively sentenced to an in-game death by Sodapoppin.

The Onlyfangs guild has a rule that guild members will not use the auction house or trade with other players who aren’t part of the guild. To prevent users from circumventing this rule, the guild uses an add-on.

Onlyfangs member Sequisha was caught disabling the add-on to use the auction house. Sodapoppin had previously stated that any guild member caught cheating must either leave Onlyfangs or delete their character. However, instead of removing Sequisha from the guild, they gave him another option; survive in a free-for-all PvP area for 10 minutes. In addition, the cheater had to give up all the gold he made from auction house sales.

The guild members expected the cheater to die but didn’t want to risk their characters. To ensure Sequisha’s death, they recruited a high-level player named Zeroji to make sure he didn’t survive.

Sequisha survived in the area for 6 minutes and that’s when the high-level player Zeroji stepped in and killed him.

Summit1G is upset that the fight was unfair because Sequisha was a level 37 player and Zeroji was the world’s first level-60 player. It is unclear whether Sequisha would’ve survived. However, some believe that, given how he managed to last 6 minutes, there was a chance of him making it.

Other players like Tyler1 claimed the cheater deserved to be killed. Furthermore, Sodapoppin claims that Sequisha shouldn’t have cheated and nothing like this would’ve happened.

The drama between Sodapoppin and Summit1g is just the latest beef involving Onlyfangs. The group brings together numerous high-profile streamers and, naturally, there have been numerous issues as a result. This includes kicking guild members out for not playing enough and criticizing streamers who attempted to rebroadcast the content on unaffiliated channels.
