Since vtubers are a dime in a dozen now, one of the best ways to get noticed by an audience is to have an adorable or eye-catching model. A vtuber’s model design can be seen as a hook and their personality or streaming style is what people entice the people to stay and keep watching the streamer.

Limealicious, more affectionately known as Laimu, is an indie vtuber who started streaming in 2021. One of the things that make her vtuber model stand out from the rest is how smooth and responsive it is. One of the problems vtubers might encounter when they’re using their models is that it feels stiff and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do.
Laimu’s model is as smooth as it can get. In fact, it was so smooth that she made a video showing what else her model could do.
It almost feels like cheating if we include Ironmouse in this list, but here we are. The reason Ironmouse is in this list is because of the large number of models that she has. Quite recently, she has debuted her “worm” form during her subathon. There’s definitely one model of Ironmouse that will make a viewer stay.
Sakamata Chloe is a Japanese vtuber from hololive. Her model is inspired by orcas, which is a breath of fresh air from the common animals that vtuber models are often based on. Chloe’s outfit prominently features the colors black and red which makes it easy on the eyes. However, what takes the cake is Chloe’s yukata outfit which showed off her model’s elegance.
We’re taking a step back on art styles with this one. Most vtubers have anime art styles, but Marikyuun’s model sets itself apart from the rest by utilizing more cartoon-y motifs. For example, her model is much brighter and seems like it came out of a children’s book.
With a model like this, it really makes you wonder what other art styles can work for vtubers.
Speaking of models that fit the vtuber, Nouvelle is one of the best. Trickywi is an independent vtuber who streams on Twitch and creates content on YouTube. However, she also has another vtuber she taps into at times called Nouvelle, which is the model depicted above.
Nouvelle is a vtuber based on a spider and talks with a Southern Belle accent, which is a huge hit for her fans. Her design is purely white and red, which is easy on the eyes. Pair that with the fact that her model is also quite expressive and you have a formula for a great vtuber.
