While they aren’t part of Europe’s three big names, Team Vitality and GiantX are currently in the top spots of the LEC. Today, they face off against each other. Can GX also compete against the better teams? Is VIT finally consistent in the LEC Spring Split 2026?
Betting tip: As their loss to Natus Vincere indicated, GX might not have what it takes to beat the better teams. Vitality has the edge in this match-up.
My Team Vitality vs GiantX pick: Over 2.5 maps at 1.87 odds at GG.BET.

Up until game 1 yesterday, GX convincingly beat each of their opponents in the LEC Spring Split. However, they started with the weakest teams and now need to face the top half. NAVI was their entry point into that gauntlet, and it did not go their way. Despite a one-sided first game, NAVI fought back just as fiercely in the next two.
With that loss, GiantX is under scrutiny for potentially being a fake first place team. If they lose to Vitality now, they might be starting their path to a 4-5 finisher.
On the other hand, VIT has done the opposite. This team has already faced all of the strongest opponents, with GX being their closest remaining competition. Afterwards, they’ll only have Fnatic and Team Heretics left.
Vitality’s 5-1 was earned by beating all of the top opponents besides Karmine Corp. However, the one source of worry regarding them is that they always show a great display of strength that infallibly comes to a sudden end.
This means that the question for VIT becomes: when will they hit that roadblock? Alternatively, did they finally overcome their demons?
Vitality presents a squad of individually talented players. Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan is one of the most hyped newcomers, Marek “Humanoid” Brázda has a real history of success, and Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság is one of the big bot lane names.
VIT tends to get held back by their drafts, though. At this point, it’s their trademark as well as the fact that they win regardless. Nonetheless, it remains a real liability.
As for GX, their players take turns playing great – and poorly. Against NAVI, this ended up being their downfall.

The biggest opponent of both of these teams is themselves. Which one will manage to beat their demons? Most likely, Vitality. Especially given those odds, VIT is a great bet.
