Vitality has most likely secured top two already. VIT can only fall to third place if they lose and GiantX wins each of their three matches while only losing a single game.
For Fnatic though, the situation is dire. Should they lose 0-2, they can only qualify if G2 Esports or Movistar KOI goes 0-8 in their last four matches. If they go 1-2, they survive if one of them finishes 1-8.
If FNC wins, they still need either team to go 1-3 while not winning too many games. GiantX can also have a 0-3 week. These teams will all face one another though, so the odds of one of them doing poorly are relatively high.

Fnatic has not impressed so far in 2026. Sometimes, they have moments of greatness. Games 2 and 3 against G2 Esports, game 2 against Karmine Corps, they pull off wins where they look like a completely different team. Then the next game, they’ll make the strangest mistakes again.
FNC is all over the place between greatness and bottom of the pack. The problem is that their average is low. Coordination most of the time isn’t there, and the mistakes snowball.
Vitality, on the other hand, has established themselves as a clear top 2 team. There’s a chance that they no longer have that level, depending on whether MKOI and G2 caught up. The way they struggled against SK on Saturday was uncharacteristic, after they usually stomped lower-placed teams.
Perhaps that match is a good sign for Fnatic. Most likely, it won’t be enough to bridge the gap between their levels.
