Team Secret part ways with The King – Sumail

Team Secret part ways with The King – Sumail after two disappointing DPC seasons.

Team Secret’s new roster for the DPC 2021/22 was received with much fanfare, boasting highly skilled superstars.

The star studded roster, on paper, appeared to be the strongest of the lot.

Tragedy was about to strike though.

To Secret’s misfortune, the roster never clicked and from the get-go started to flounder, away from its goal.

Team Secret

After two seasons of downward spiral and disappointment, a change was imminent.

The first to receive the hammer was none other than Dota 2’s prodigal son and TI5 winner, Sumail.

Despite role swaps and playstyle changes, Secret fell short of inching even a step closer towards their goal; The International 11.

With not many DPC points in its kitty, Secret barely survived to stay alive in the DPC WEU Division I, or qualify to The Stockholm Major.

In the previous DPC year, Team Secret had their best year to date after finishing third at The International 10.

Time to change the fortune.
