This will be the first time we see Team Liquid PH face off against ONIC Philippines during the regular season of MPL PH Season 17.
As stated earlier, Team Liquid is currently undefeated with a 6-0 record. They have been one of the best teams in the tournament in the early game.
Primarily, they have focused on making sure to secure the Turtle, which they have done quite efficiently this season. Due to a slight rise in their in-game tempo, Team Liquid PH is currently on a 94% match win rate.
On the other side, we have ONIC Philippines. Currently, they sit on a record of 3-2. This season, the team has been one of the best in the league at securing the Lord during the late game. This is because they have focused on the late game with their hero picks. As a result, they have a comparatively slower tempo in their style of play but know how to convert it into a win.
According to betting websites, it isn’t really a shocker to see Team Liquid PH as the clear favorites to win this series. There is a high chance we see heroes like Zhuxin and Baxia being banned by ONIC PH as they are the first picks for the Team Liquid PH duo of Sanji (MID) & KarlTzy (Jungle).
