The Secret Society holoX consists of Lui, La+ Darkness, Haiku Koyori, the recently graduated Sakamata Chloe, and Kazama Iroha. The vtuber is known to have the most balanced personality in her generation, and this is why she’s in charge of controlling the chaos the other talents so often create.

In a YouTube stream on May 10, Hololive’s Takane Lui debuted a new model that shows her in traditional Japanese aesthetics with a fresh twist.

Takane Lui began her stream by showing off predictions fans had shared about how the vtuber’s new outfit would look. The various guesses included one that showed the vtuber in Greek attire. Others were a bit closer to the real deal thanks to fans having an idea of what she might look like because of a silhouette shown in a Takene Lui X post previewing the new model debut.

Takane Lui still has her signature bubble gum-pink hair, but it’s longer than it was on her previous model. She also wears earnings that are reminiscent of lanterns commonly found in traditional Japanese architecture. This wasn’t the only thing that looked Japanese, as the vtuber’s complete outfit carries that same vibe throughout its design.

Takane Lui’s new outfit is modern with a sleeveless top and a slit in her long skirt, but its aesthetics are of traditional Japanese clothing. The vtuber had leather straps on one of her thighs that were visible because of the skirt’s design. She also had a shawl on her shoulders and red snow boots, likely because the background on the screen showed snow, indicating a frosty temperature. Fans expressed their delight at the vtuber’s new look and praised the outfit for both its regal and modern themes.
