Nintendo is the king of gaming for non-gamers. Mario Kart, Mario Party, Super Smash, and others are games that almost everyone has played – whether or not they dabble in other areas of the genre.
Switch Sports, the successor to Wii Sports, falls into the same category: a game for non-gamers.
That doesn’t make the game bad or good – it is what it is.
In short, yes. Switch Sports is fun.
There are six game modes on launch: Volleyball, Soccer, Bowling, Badminton, Chambara (Sword Fighting), and Tennis. If Wii Sports is any indication, Nintendo will probably release a Switch Sports 2 rather than updating the first.
Playing online is rewarding, as wins advance you toward the “Pro League” – a glorified ranking system that you reach after 10 matches.

Switch Sports is fun enough to get your money’s worth if you enjoy a bit of movement in your game, from time to time.
I don’t see too many people playing the game alone. As is the case with every multiplayer game, it’s better with a few friends.
Since you can’t play co-op with an online teammate, I’d recommend this game more to people who have a sibling, parent, or significant other in the house.
Switch Sports is, by far, best for these two groups: n
If you’re a solo gamer, or will only play Switch Sports with an online friend, then this might not be the game for you.
