This might just be my own idiosyncrasies talking, but I found the SugarHouse platform a little clunky to use. The layout is fine, the categories are logical and the quick links in the toolbar at the top of the homepage make it easy enough to toggle between game genres, but sometimes, things get a little glitchy.
On Safari, for example, scrolling to the bottom of any page seems nigh-on impossible, because new rows keep appearing out of nowhere each time you try. Having to switch between “Casino4Fun” and “Sports Zone” mini-sites depending on what kind of entertainment you fancy can prove frustrating, too, though games are generally fast to load and I’m sure the interface grows on you with time.
So, who’s pulling the strings behind the scenes at SugarHouse social casino? Why, it’s none other than Rush Street Interactive, the same guys behind Rush Games and other social casino’s bearing the “Casino4Fun” moniker.
Rush Street Interactive is a Chicago-based gaming company that’s listed on the New York Stock Exchange. I’ve been reviewing and rating social casinos for quite some time now, and I can tell you – this is a totally trustworthy brand.
Previous and existing players seem to agree, too. I’ve spied SugarHouse reviews on various sites across the internet serving-up compliments about the brand’s high-RTP slot games, and its unique, virtual-coin-powered sportsbook. But more on this in a bit.
Gameplay at SugarHouse is a lot more fluid than trying to navigate the brand’s slightly quirky website. It’s one of the top sweepstakes casinos online from a software point of view, largely because its slots and tables are all powered by the likes of:

It took me a while to find this out, because confusingly, the brand’s real money casino sister site, PlaySugarHouse does have an app, though of course this completely separate platform is off-limits in most US states for regulatory reasons.

A word to the wise – VC$ have no cash value and can never be redeemed for real-world prizes. In a nutshell, they’re identical to what other social casinos call “GC” or “Gold Coins”. There’s no SC in-play here.
From the SugarHouse website directly, you have just one option for reaching out to customer support – and that’s to head to the “Help Center” and hit “Email Customer Support”, which will automatically redirect you to your device’s default mail app.
But I’ve a tip for you here. Scroll to the bottom of any SugarHouse webpage, hit the Facebook or Twitter icon and you can send a direct message via either social network. This is probably going to be preferable if you’re in a hurry, because my tests found that email responses can sometimes take anywhere up to 4-5 hours, particularly if you’re emailing at, say, 3:30am.
In all its branding and marketing, SugarHouse is crystal-clear that its platform exists, well… purely-for-fun. For those of you not in-the-know, this means that you don’t need to be concerned one iota about state-level US gambling licences, because you’re playing at an entertainment-only gaming site here.
I had a good dig around the brand’s Privacy Policy when putting this SugarHouse review together, and I found that this site offers some excellent security credentials. SSL encryption is in-full-force, data retention rules are a-okay, with plenty of opt-out options, and responsible gambling resources are widely promoted and accessible – just as they should be.
While SugarHouse is available in almost every US state, you might run into trouble when trying to access it from elsewhere. I won’t beat around the bush here – SugarHouse has its pros and cons. The website is a little confusing at first and takes some getting used to. The customer support options are a little below par, too. But when you look at the brand’s superb iGaming reputation, its awesome selection of not just slots and tables, but VC$-powered sportsbook odds, and its regular reload promotions, I’m a firm believer there’s a lot more good than bad here.

I highly doubt any of you will be disappointed here as it’s easily one of the best sweepstakes slots casinos.
