Ever heard of Slotomania? If you haven’t, it’s about time you did. This easy-to-use social casino platform offers 170+ different games – and a great welcome bonus, too.
You see, I’ve been playing at the site for some time now while piecing together this Slotomania review, and I’m convinced that, aside from a few customer support hiccups, it’s one of the best free-to-play social casinos around. Here’s everything I’ve learned in my time trying-out the brand’s super-cool slots, bonuses, and more.
Slotomania offers a sweet bonus to all new signups. Register from an eligible US state by following the steps I’ll outline in the next section, and the brand will credit you as many as 1 million free Gold Coins (GC).
I recently picked apart the ins and outs of this Slotomania bonus code offer in my detailed promo review, but realistically all you need to know is that your bonus GC are pretty much restriction-free. You can play them at any of the brand’s 170+ slots games, and there’s a solid chance you’ll be able to secure even more free coins if you keep an eye-out for future bonus code drops on the brand’s social media pages, too.
I’ll dive deeper into the countries and states where Slotomania is and isn’t available a little later on. If you’re in a rush, though, the table below reveals which US states are permitted.
Now, I hinted at this a little in the intro, but one of the best things about Slotomania is how easy it is to register. The brand offers dedicated apps for both Android and iOS, or you can simply head to slotomania.com and start playing directly from their website.
To create an account, simply follow these four steps:
Once you’re in, you’ll soon spot that your 1,000,000 GC bonus will automatically appear in your account. Now is, of course, the time to start enjoying all that Slotomania has to offer.
You bet it is. Finding your way around the brand’s game offerings is just as easy as creating a new customer account with them. The lobby area allows you to jump right into classic slots, video slots and other game categories with just one click, while links to free GC promotions, VIP rewards and customer support are all clearly displayed in the top toolbar.
Personally, I have a bit of a thing for neon, so I’m a big fan of the brand’s Vegas-inspired logo and ultra-bright colour scheme – though some of you might find the latter annoying if you’re more into “dark mode-style” gaming. Particularly as no option appears to be available right now to tone down the colours.
On the upside, those of you who enjoy regular coin reloads and rewards will have no trouble deciphering how these are unlocked and enjoyed here. The brand’s “Free Coins” page is super-informative about all that’s available.
I did a bit of digging into the history of Slotomania, and guess what? This brand’s been established in the industry for quite some time.
Slotomania was first founded in 2011 by Playtika Ltd, a company that’s actually been producing Vegas-style slots games of its own since 2010. Nowadays, it’s a publicly traded company and boasts something of an iGaming empire.
Since it was established in 2010, Platika has gone on to acquire the likes of Wooga, Youda Games and other popular software brands. They employ almost 4,000 staff across 19 offices worldwide, and the Slotomania subsidiary itself has been growing super-popular among gaming enthusiasts of late.
Slotomania reviews on TrustPilot and other sites consistently praise the brand’s game quality and ease-of-use and, as I revealed earlier, the site’s amassed a following of more than 700,000 players worldwide since its initial launch. Pretty impressive, eh?
As Platika, Slotomania’s parent company, has its roots in social gaming software, many players have high expectations in this department – and rightly so. The good news on this front is that Slotomania totally delivers.
Whether you’re playing slots or video slots, games load-up lightning-fast, and there are endless bonus rounds and multipliers that can be unlocked on Slotomania favourites like Crazy Train and Arctic Tiger Jr. I highly doubt you guys are going to wind up disappointed here, particularly if you favour cartoon and anime-style game graphics.
Slotomania has not one, but two downloadable apps. This is quite rare in the sweepstakes world, with even the very best social casino sites ordinarily offering one-size-fits-all, mobile-friendly websites instead of apps these days.
To locate the right Slotomania app for your device, you can either search for it on the App or Google Play store, or simply click the big black “Download App” button for your device on the Slotomania website. I’ve been playing from my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 for a fair few weeks now, and I think it’s safe to say loading times are superb. Functionality is identical to the regular Slotomania website, too. Top marks all round here, then.
For those of you not already aware, social casinos like Slotomania don’t require players to make any deposits or purchases. Much as I saw in my recent SugarHouse Casino4Fun review, the games here are offered with a no purchase necessary policy – which is part of the reason the brand’s welcome bonus serves up so many free GC from the day you first register. If your GC balance starts running a little short, though, it is possible to purchase more GC using several trusted payment methods. If you’re using the brand’s Android App, for example, you can use your pre-entered payment details on Google Play to buy GC packages. It’s a similar story for iOS users (it all goes through your Apple ID), while other players can make purchases either through Facebook Pay, PayPal, iDeal, Sofort or credit card.
Transaction times are usually instant, and Slotomania charge no fees of their own – though their “Purchases” FAQ page does warn players to watch out for external charges issued by card/e-wallet providers.
You’ll rarely ever run into issues with top social casinos like Slotomania, but just on the off-chance, you can contact customer support here with relative ease. The brand’s “Help Center” enables you to browse FAQs on anything from game features to bonuses, and there’s an additional option to open a support ticket if you have a more pressing issue that needs resolving.
To achieve this, simply fill out a basic contact form and hit “Submit”. You can attach screenshots of any tech or glitch-related issues you’re grappling with, and upload other supporting files too, and Slotomania promises to get back to you “as soon as they can”.Of course, I tried out the service for myself mid-way through penning this guide, and I found that the three tickets I sent in were each met with rather different response times. One received a reply just an hour later, another took around four, and the final ticket was responded to in approx. six and a half hours.
In all fairness, Slotomania probably isn’t the best social casino out there on the customer support front. Why? Well, many competitors offer instant, 24/7 live chat, which I’d argue is much more user-friendly than Slotomania’s ticket system – particularly when you’re in a hurry. Shame that.
There’s no way I’d dive this deep into a social casino’s offerings if they didn’t have a trusted rep. Researching the company’s background was the first thing I did before writing this Slotomania review – and here’s what I found.
First up, the site doesn’t shout about having a license. But in actuality, that’s a-okay, because this isn’t a real money casino – all gameplay takes place using online-only virtual coins, meaning an old-school gambling license isn’t a super-strict requirement.
The brand is owned and operated by Playtika Ltd – a company which, as I noted earlier, is generally highly-regarded in the industry, particularly for its software pedigree. In a nutshell, the site is 100% safe to play at so long as you live in a country or region where players are accepted. Here are a few great security features Slotomania has in force:
Security feature | How it’s used |
SSL encryption. | Advanced data encryption is used to protect any personal info processed through the site. |
Random Number Generator (RNG) software. | RNG is used on slots and digital games to ensure randomized outcomes. |
Before playing at any social casino, it is of course essential to double-check what the law has to say about these kinds of sites where you live first. Next up, you should make sure the brand fully accepts customers from your country, too. Slotomania’s site and apps are pretty widely available at the time of writing. There are only a handful of countries where the brand’s services are off limits, and these are Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
If you’re in the US, it’s worth noting that sweepstakes gaming itself is strictly prohibited in Washington, so you won’t be able to play from there, just as I found when reviewing the Rush Games social casino and other sweepstakes brands. As of now, Slotomania’s own T&Cs don’t make mention of any other barred US states, though, so Americans should be good to go from pretty much anywhere else.
As I said in my intro, bonuses are undoubtedly one of Slotomania’s strongest features. You’ll get 1,000,000 free GC automatically credited to you the day you register, but there’s actually a whole lot more where that came from.
Play at Slotomania for some time and you’ll also be auto-enrolled into the brand’s “Inner Circle” – their quirky albeit slightly conspiratorial-sounding loyalty club. This tier-based VIP program offers players like you a ton of incredible benefits. For starters, you can claim 25% more GC than other gamers each time you make a voluntary purchase.
There’s also the opportunity to unlock 5% rakeback on your losses by activating Slotomania’s “Safety Net” feature, and to get your hands on bonuses that are boosted by up to 30% more than usual, too. Basically, VIPs get to enjoy everything regular players do, but bigger and better.
Now really this depends on what you’re looking for, but I personally am a big fan. There’s 170+ games available, some super-intuitive smartphone apps and you can claim a great bonus as a first-timer. Here’s how…
Basically, you can get your hands on free coins by following the brand’s social accounts and keeping an eye-out for links to exclusive tournaments and free coins promos. Discover Slotomania’s latest bonuses here…
The brand has amassed more than 700,000 members in total. But why’s Slotomania so popular? Find out with our social casino reviews.
Ah, the million dollar question… Well, Slotomania boasts more than 170 different games, a 1 million GC bonus and a brand reputation that certainly won’t make anyone blink twice but is it the right social casino for you? From where I’m standing, I’d say that Slotomania is a fantastic fit for anyone who appreciates big-value bonuses, easy-to-use platforms, and great gaming software. The latest behemoth bonuses for newbies and VIPs offer plenty of mileage, while Playtika’s long-running pedigree in producing eye-popping software means the gaming experiences on offer are pretty much second-to-none, especially if you’re into cartoon-style games.
In all, the brand ticks a lot of boxes – Slotomania’s only significant downside being its slightly flawed customer support options. But I’m guessing most of you will be able to live with that, right?

As Slotomania is the brainchild of Playtika Ltd, you can of course expect to be served a smorgasbord of superb Platika games the day you sign-up. There are titles from NetEnt and Microgaming on offer, too. And perhaps unsurprisingly, most of Slotomania’s games are, spoiler alert, slots, with the bright lights of Las Vegas being the primary inspiration here.
There are a ton of old-school one-armed bandits and fruit machines, from classics like Crazy Train and Vegas Cash to slightly weirder-themed slots like Lucy’s Fun Run. Fans of cartoon-style games are likely to fall head over heels for the brand’s games in a heartbeat, as my Slotomania review found that pretty much every game here delivers cartoon and/or anime vibes. If you’re more of a blackjack or poker player, though, look away now – because there aren’t any table games available here. It’s also worth keeping in mind that while 178 might sound like a lot of games, there are other social casinos out there offering portfolios in the thousands…
As I revealed in my Slotomania review a little earlier on, you’ll get a ton of free GC automatically when registering here, by way of the brand’s flagship welcome bonus. From there, there’s a whole bunch of other ways you can collect free coins, from getting involved with the “Inner Circle” VIP club to claiming regular free coin reloads once every three hours or taking part in “Daily Dash” challenges.
Your best options are probably the three-hourly reloads and “Lucy’s Gift” offers. The Latter is essentially a daily loot box where you can click Lucy’s treasure chest to unveil a random number of free coins once a day. And of course, there’s always the option of purchasing a GC package if you really want to, though this is never a necessity.
When all’s said and done, Slotomania is a seriously superb social casino – especially if you enjoy fast-loading, branded slots games with cheeky cartoon graphics.
My Slotomania review’s not going to beat around the bush – 178 isn’t a massive amount of games, but those that are on offer here hail from some of the best software brands in the biz, and you’ll also benefit from being able to claim some insanely good bonuses as you play. In all, there’s a ton of fun to be had. So, go enjoy yourselves.
