Looking for a free-to-play social casino that doesn’t skimp on game variety? If so, you need to check out my Rush Games review right here.
I’ve taken time out of my day job penning expert iGaming guides and tips to focus exclusively on unpacking all that this up-and-coming brand, similar to other new sweeps casinos, has to offer, which, I can confirm, is a lot. My verdict? Rush Games is one of the best social casinos out there for game choice, live dealer experiences and state-of-the-art software.
Not so long back, I pieced together a must-read guide on how to use the latest Rush Games bonus. It’s a pretty simple affair, serving-up 500 VC$ automatically on the day you register.
These VC$ are essentially used in the same way as any Gold Coins (GC) you might have played with before at other social casinos, but there are a few caveats. For example, you’ll only be eligible if you haven’t registered with Rush Games or any other Rush Street Interactive social casino sites before. So, past Sugarhouse Casino4Fun users, for example, might have to skip this one. You can also check out the Rush Games promo code used in claiming bonuses.
Signing up with most social casinos is super-easy, and you’ll be happy to hear things are no different here. On the brand’s homepage, they set out a three-step process for getting started, but here I’m going to elaborate on each point a little. Here we go:
Well… that all depends on which state you live in, but generally anywhere besides WA should be a-okay. Here’s a table listing all the available states:
The first thing that stood out to me when writing this Rush Games review was the site’s slightly cluttered homepage. On the surface, it all looks, well… a bit of mess. But dig a little deeper and you’ll soon see everything actually makes total sense.
A toolbar at the top of the page allows you to toggle between different game genres with one click. There’s even a unique feature whereby you can filter by software house, too, which is handy, because games from a lot of different software providers are available here.
My favorite feature, though, is the search engine – which you’ll find in the top left-hand corner. If you’re the kind of gamer who knows exactly what you’re looking for, I’m confident you’ll love this feature too.
Rush Games sweeps casino is powered by Rush Street Interactive, an NYSE-listed company based in Chicago. The brand is very well known in the sector and owns several other free-to-play social casino sites, such as SugarHouse Casino4Fun, for example.
The fact Rush Street Interactive is listed on the stock exchange is for sure a good sign, but what do actual players have to say about Rush Games’ offerings?
Well, rather unusually, unlike most sweepstakes casinos online, the brand doesn’t appear to have much presence on TrustPilot or Reddit, but of those threads that do exist on the latter site, negative comments seem to be limited to simple confusion regarding how the social casino’s coin system works.
Elsewhere, some Rush Games reviews have praised the brand’s “excellent range of software and bonuses”, while others have expressed disappointment over the fact Rush doesn’t offer any dedicated Android or iOS apps. So, it’s swings and roundabouts, really. Though most write-ups tend to shout a lot more about the positives than the negatives.
Allow me to start by saying, there are a lot of options on the table here, game-wise. In fact, this might just be the social casino around in terms of sheer game variety.
The brand’s homepage invites eager players just like yourselves to pick from slots, blackjack, progressive jackpots, and a ton of other genres – and most titles are powered by major software houses, including:
Naturally, this means you can expect anything from classic Pragmatic Play slots like Mammoth Gold Megaways, to Evolution Gaming-powered live dealer tables like Lightning Roulette.
I’m sorry to say that as of now, Rush Games doesn’t offer any sweepstakes casino apps for iOS or Android. Instead, they go down the “mobile-friendly” website route – with Chrome and Safari recommended as the best browsers to use.
If you’ve read my Global Poker review, you’ll know that mobile-friendly websites are actually quite common in the social casino sector, and that not having access to dedicated apps isn’t always such a bad thing. Why? Well, with Rush Games and similar platforms, you can enjoy instant-play slots and tables with no fiddly downloads.
You’re in strictly social casino territory here, which means your VC$ have no cash value and the games offered by Rush Games are, well… Playable purely for fun. All gamers are presented with a choice – either play for free or optionally purchase VC$. If you go for the latter, the payment options on offer, include:
My Rush Games review tried out a few of the above and found that purchases went through instantly every time. The brand doesn’t appear to charge any transaction fees, either.
Most Rush Games reviews penned by actual players themselves tend to praise the brand’s customer support offerings, and I have to agree – the options on offer are easy-to-use, and staff seemed friendly during the tests I carried out for myself.
There’s a handy Help Center page dotted with FAQs, and you can contact the brand by email with replies promised in 24-hours-or-less. When I gave this feature a whirl, staff came back within just 2 hours. Better yet, they responded immediately when I sent DMs to their Twitter and Insta accounts.
Those of you more familiar with social casinos might already be aware that licensing isn’t such a big issue in the US for these kinds of sites. Rush Games and similar brands offer virtual coin-powered games with no purchase requirement, and don’t require the same state-level licensing you might’ve come to expect from real money casinos.
Having said that, you still need to play by the rules. In Rush Games’ case, you must:
I already revealed a little earlier that Rush Games is available in all US states bar WA, where social casino gaming itself is prohibited, but are there any off-limits countries?
Well, frustratingly, I couldn’t actually get a solid answer on this one from the brand’s Help Center or T&Cs pages, but as a general rule of thumb, an “access denied” pop-up will appear whenever you visit the brand’s site from an off-limits nation, which I guess is pretty self-explanatory…
Yes, and yes again. Allow me to unpack these two separately…
First-up, my Rush Games review stumbled across what the brand likes to call their “Rewards Center”, which is essentially a classic social casino VIP program. You can collect “Play Points” each time you spin slots or play at tables unlike some sweepstakes slots casinos, and these can be redeemed for scratch cards, bonus codes and other goodies, though it’s unclear how many levels make up the scheme in total.
Next, there are literally a ton of different reload promos players like yourselves can take part in daily. To cite a few examples, you can claim a “Lucky Day Bonus” potentially worth up to 15,000 VC$ by playing 500 VC$ or more within any given 24 hour period. You can also claim up to 30 free VC$ daily via the brand’s “Daily Free Credits” promotion.
No – Rush Games offers a mobile-friendly website instead, which works best on either Chrome or Safari. Find out why…
You can play from anywhere bar WA, where social casino gaming just straight-up isn’t permitted. Discover Rush Games and other similar sites with my latest reviews.
Rush Games is run by a reputable company, offers SSL encryption, and boasts a ton of great player reviews, so I’d certainly say so. Find out what to expect here…
On paper, there’s a lot to like about Rush Games, but does it live up to the hype in practice? Well, I for one think it does. There are hundreds of games available that aren’t limited to just slots or any other single genre, the software on offer is insanely good, with Pragmatic, Evolution and just about every other major name brand in between up-for-grabs, and there’s a juicy bonus on offer that’s painlessly easy to claim and use.
There might not be any apps available and the site’s design might feel a tad cluttered at first glance, but I’m certain you’ll find Rush Games quick to get used to, and these minor cons by no means outweigh the brand’s massive pros.
Players must be 21 years of age or older or reach the minimum age for gambling in their respective state and located in jurisdictions where online gambling is legal. Please play responsibly. Bet with your head, not over it. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, and wants help, call or visit: (a) the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey at 1-800-Gambler or www.800gambler.org; or (b) Gamblers Anonymous at 855-2-CALL-GA or www.gamblersanonymous.org.
In a word, incredible. There are more than 300 different games to choose from in total, and the brand doesn’t try to limit you solely to slots or tables, unlike some competitors.
Software is for sure the site’s biggest draw, though – especially if you’re into slots. High-RTP Konami classics like Dynamite Dash are available, as are even fierier fruit machines from Pragmatic like Aztec Blaze. And of course, because every single game here has been sourced from a major software house, the graphics are beautiful and there’s no worries of slow loading times or dodgy glitches.
If you’re more of a card shark, you’ll find an equally impressive range of tables here, spanning baccarat, dice, roulette, blackjack and more. The best ones hail from Evolution Gaming and come with a range of table limits to suit gamers of virtually all experience levels. You can go as low as 0.10 VC$ on Roulette Live, or as high as 60.00 VC$ on Infinite Blackjack, for example. Perhaps most impressive, though, is the fact so many live dealer tables are available – because these are super-rare among for-fun-only social casinos.
Rush Games is an all-out social casino. In my recent PlayJack review, I revealed how that brand offers Gold Coin games only (i.e., with no sweepstakes prize exchanges available). Well, the same system’s in place here at Rush Games, except your GC are called VC$ instead.
As I said earlier, there are 500 VC$ available via the brand’s sign-up bonus, and several daily reloads up-for-grabs thereafter. Purchasing coins for cash is strictly optional, and perhaps the best way to accumulate VC$ as quickly as possible is to sign-up for the brand’s Rewards Center – which will add some serious oomph to any future bonuses you come to claim. Most brands come withsweepstakes casinos promo code to claim bonuses.
When all’s said and done, Rush Games is, in a word, awesome. The diversity of their portfolio won’t leave anyone feeling left out or disappointed, and the exceptionally good software on offer across all game genres ensures incredible graphics and immersive gaming experiences every single time you play. So, go have fun already, yeah?
