Slots lovers across the US have been really flocking to Gambino Slots lately. The site and its accompanying apps have drawn in upwards of three million players and attracted some incredibly complimentary reviews – but is Gambino Slots any good?
While putting together this Gambino Slots review, I spent a lot of time trying-out the brand’s 150+ games, claiming their free G-Coin (GC) bonuses and even getting involved with the Gambino VIP Club. What did I find? Well, I was impressed. Gambino Slots is easy-to-use, available in dedicated app form for several devices and, of course, superb for slots fans.

Gambino Slots doesn’t hold back one iota with its sign-up bonus. Right off the bat, players in eligible US states can claim 100,000 GC and 200 free spins. If you want to know everything about how it works, go right on ahead and read my latest Gambino Slots promo code guide, which runs through what you need to do to claim in exhaustive detail.
In a nutshell, though, your free GC and spins are super-straightforward to unlock. You’ll need to simply sign-up and sync your account with Facebook to claim the former, and the latter will be disbursed to you in separate increments of 20 apiece over your first 10 days of gaming.
While Gambino Slots is a social casino, which means all gameplay here takes place using online-only coins that have no cash value, you’ll still need to tread carefully and ensure the brand’s 100% legal where you live before playing. My handy list below runs through which US states you can and can’t access the brand from…
Whether you’ve played at a hundred social casinos before or this is your first time trialling virtual coin-powered games, I highly doubt you’re going to run into any problems registering with Gambino Slots. Trust me, the sign-up process is dead simple. To get started, follow these steps:
Functionality is serious business in the social casino game. So, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the guys at Gambino Slots totally get this. The brand’s main homepage displays the three top-ranking games of the day alongside a clickable ad for the latest existing customer bonuses. The design itself literally couldn’t be any more minimalist – everything’s all on one page.
Unlike some other sweepstakes casinos online I’ve seen, you won’t have to worry about unravelling burger-menus or hunting-down difficult-to-locate links here – simply click arrows on the right and left-hand side of the screen to scroll through all the games up-for-grabs. A quick-link to your profile can be found in the bottom-left, as can tournaments, while notifications are in the top-right and promotions are displayed in the bottom right. Piece of pie, right? I can only wish more social casinos went for such simple layouts…
Gambino Slots is owned by Spiral Interactive, an offshoot of the Spiral Solutions Group. They’re a prominent tech company that’s currently active in as many as 87 different global markets. Here’s a few more fun facts about Gambino Slots themselves:
Who owns Gambino Slots? | Spiral Interactive. |
What kinds of games do they offer? | Slots, video slots and jackpots. |
Can they be trusted? | Yes. |
Do they use SSL encryption to protect customers’ data? | Yes. |
Behind every social casino lies a few mixed reviews. Unsurprisingly, it’s a similar story with Gambino Slots. Much like many new sweeps casinos, player ratings and comments on the likes of TrustPilot, Reddit and other platforms don’t paint a particularly clear or consistent picture of whether the brand’s worth your while. But don’t worry, I’ve been playing with Gambino Slots for some time now and I’m confident their site is utterly superb – especially for slots fans.
Common complaints among players criticize the brand’s customer service for being a little slow and unresponsive, but I encountered the exact opposite – which I’ll come to explaining in more detail a little later. Positive reviews praise the site’s fast-loading games; something I can certainly agree with.
Gameplay-wise, the brand’s pretty difficult to fault, really. As I said earlier, navigating your way through games is a cinch, thanks to that minimalist, one-page web design. And when you click through to fire-up a game, you can expect it to load up within 30 seconds at most, too.
Of course, the entire platform is targeted directly at slots and jackpot lovers, which means it pretty much exclusively only offers these kinds of games. So, if there is a downside to report, it’d be that you’re not going to find any poker or blackjack tables here.
Those of you with a keen eye might have noticed I already mentioned these guys offer several app options – from iOS and Android, right through to dedicated sweepstakes casino apps for Amazon devices, or desktop downloads available from the Microsoft Store. My Gambino Slots review really can’t stress how rare these kinds of device-specific offerings are in the social casino world. They certainly shouldn’t be taken for granted.
As any fair test should, I downloaded all four apps, and here’s what I found. Loading times are fairly consistent across the board, with the iOS app being only very slightly sharper than the rest. Gameplay-wise, you’ll be looking at the same one-page platform with its left-and-right game-scrolling buttons regardless of which device you play on. This might just be the one of the best sweepstakes slots casinos for app-based gamers I’ve seen. In fact, the only time I encountered any real lag was when playing on my Amazon Kindle Fire HD, but even then, this was minimal and seemed to resolve itself fairly quickly.
Gambino Slots is, of course, a social casino. If you’re not familiar with what that means, here’s a quick recap. Social casinos run on virtual coins that have no cash value and offer games that come with no buy-in or deposit requirement. This means you can collect coins for free in myriad ways, though Gambino Slots also offers players the option to purchase GC if desired.
If you choose to buy a GC top-up package, my Gambino Slots review found that the easiest way to do this is undoubtedly via in-app purchases, which will simply charge your Apple ID, Google Pay account etc. for each buy-in. Alternatively, MasterCard, VISA and Amex debit and credit card payments are accepted, as is PayPal. Withdrawals are, of course, not permitted. That said, you can expect purchases to be processed within a couple of hours or less, and no additional charges are tacked-on by Gambino Slots at their end.
Well… kind of. It really depends on which avenue you go down. Most players will click the gear icon in the top-right-hand-corner of any game page, followed by “Support”. From there, you’ll be able to fill-out a basic contact form describing your issue and submit it, but my own experiences suggest it’s a lot quicker to rely on the brand’s social media channels instead.
At the time of writing, Gambino Slots doesn’t offer a live chat feature directly on their site, nor do they offer US telephone hotlines, which is a bit of a bummer if I’m honest. Having said that, you can message Gambino Slots on Insta or Facebook at any time – and this is by far your best bet if you need an answer pronto. I went for IG, and friendly staff replied within about an hour, compared to about 4-5 hours when I tried filling out an online form.
When playing at social casinos, you don’t really have to worry too much about state-level licenses. This rule holds true so long as the brands you’re looking at are offering virtual coin-powered games only that come with no purchase requirement.
But of course, it is essential to familiarize yourself with a brand’s background and security credentials. In Gambino Slots’ case, the site has been dutifully tested by eCOGRA and seems pretty keen to promote responsible gaming across its site and apps, which is always a good sign. As I said earlier, the brand’s owned by the trusted firm Spiral Interactive, and offers SSL encryption, too. In short, there’s nothing to worry about here safety-wise.
Social casinos are not currently permitted in the state of Washington and, as my handy table earlier on revealed, Gambino Slots specifically can’t be accessed from Nevada or Idaho, either.
The brand’s T&Cs don’t outright state any off-limits countries, but naturally you should read-up on local laws before playing with Gambino Slots from anywhere else in the world.
Once you’ve been playing at Gambino Slots for a while and your sign-up bonus has run out of steam, there’s plenty of other ways you can get your hands on free GC here. Once a day you can spin the site’s “Bonus Wheel” to unveil randomized GC rewards, while once every three hours, “G-Reels” bonuses serve-up even more free coins, sometimes with 5x multipliers on offer.
Perhaps my personal favorite, though, is the Gambino Slots VIP Club – a levels-based loyalty program where you can collect XP points whenever you play, advance to higher tiers, and unlock supercharged bonuses. There are nine levels to climb in total, starting out at “Topaz” and winding right the way up to “Black Diamond”, the latter offering free coin reloads of immense value compared to what everybody else is getting. How much can you claim, exactly? Well, you’ll need to become a VIP for yourself to find out, because I didn’t make it all the way through and Gambino Slots is super-secretive about what’s on the table…
Gambino Slots is run by the very reputable Spiral Interactive, has SSL encryption in place and is incredibly easy-to-use. Here’s why you should consider creating an account…
Over at Gambino Slots you’ll find just shy of 160 games in total, pretty much all of which are slots. See how the brand compares to competitors by checking out my latest expert gaming guides.
New gamers registering with Gambino Slots can claim up to 100,000 free GC and 200 free spins – but you’ll want to read my guide carefully before claiming to ensure you’re always following the T&Cs correctly.
Decisions, decisions, eh? Gambino Slots certainly has a lot going for it. There’s a great welcome package up for grabs when you first register, an epic VIP program good for frequent, big-value rewards, and no-nonsense functionality. Those of you who prefer playing via apps will have a particularly good time, as Gambino Slots offers some of the broadest download options and most user-friendly applications I’ve seen.
But at just 160 or so games, their game selection definitely comes up a little short compared to what competitors are offering. Then of course, the entire selection is limited solely to slots, which won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. So, the long and short of it is – slots lovers, eat your heart out. But table gamers? You might want to use our social casino comparisons to shop around for an alternative.
Players must be 21 years of age or older or reach the minimum age for gambling in their respective state and located in jurisdictions where online gambling is legal. Please play responsibly. There are only around 160 games up-for-grabs with Gambino Slots in total, but somehow the selection feels much larger than that. While the portfolio consists entirely of slots, jackpots, and video slots – with no table games available – all games load-up quickly whether you’re playing via app or browser, and the user experience always has that immersive edge.
From the eerily human-like characters of Luxury Living to the cartoonish lions and tigers of Big 5 Africa, graphics are top-tier, too, though you won’t find games from big-name software brands like NetEnt or Playteach in the Gambino Slots portfolio.
One of my favourite things about this platform is, and I hate to repeat myself, its ease-of-use. The one-page design really is a treat, because it enables you to jump in and out of games with ease and claim the brand’s regularly rotated promotions with just one click whenever you fancy a GC reload.
It’s all strictly social casino gameplay at Gambino Slots, which means the only online currency you need to worry about is G-Coins – the brand’s answer to GC. These are for-fun-only tokens that you can play at any slot games you please, though the “free spins” you’ll be awarded as part of your sign-up bonus might, at the brand’s discretion, be limited a little more strictly to specific games.
As I explored earlier on, there are a ton of different ways you can grab a hold of free coin reloads once your 100,000 GC have been all used-up. G-Reels bonuses and Bonus Wheel spins are at your disposal at least once a day, and you can opt to purchase extra coins at great rates, too, if you wish. The largest GC package available to high rollers offers 3,600,000 GC for $49.99, while the smallest one will land you 36,000 GC for less than $1 USD. Not bad, right?
Gambino Slots is all about… well… slots. There are no table games up-for-grabs here or prominent software brands represented in the Gambino Slots portfolio, but the simplicity of the site’s one-page navigation is a dream, games load up lightning-fast and the recurring bonuses on the table really crank up the fun.
In all, this is a fantastic place to play if slots are your favorite game genre and you have a penchant for easy-to-use software and dedicated, downloadable apps. So, why not get that sweepstakes casinos promo code and give Gambino Slots a go today?
