Some suspect that Season 8 will lead into Chapter 3

Fortnite Season 8 will continue into December, but players are already looking towards the next season, with Fortnitemares set to end soon.

There are now rumors that Season 9 won’t happen. Instead, players think that Chapter 3 will follow Chapter 2 Season 8.

We have a few pieces of information that lead players to this theory. First, we have the leaked BRUTE that is set to return this season – just like it did in the final season of Chapter 1.

Chapter 2 has also officially reached the same length as Chapter 1, which might be the biggest driving factor behind these thoughts.

Chapter 2 is now the exact same length as Chapter 1 (747 days)

If Season 1, 2 & 5 didn’t take +100 days we would’ve been at the end of Season X right now.

SypherPK seems to be all-in on this theory. At the time of writing, his stream is titled “Talking about Chapter 3 rumors,” and he told his stream that he might have some inside information about what’s to come.

In response to a viewer asking him about why he no longer thinks Season 9 and 10 will happen, Sypher said, “Someone told me some stuff that I can’t share. That’s what made me change my mind.”

We probably won’t know anything for sure until the new season happens, unless we see a leak leading up to the end of Season 8.
