Popular vtuber Shylily has debuted her new 3D chibi model with fans already expressing their love for the vtuber’s new look.
Shylily is one of the best-known and widely popular independent vtubers in the industry, with a massive 1.5 million followers on Twitch. Despite this, the vtuber is a rather private person who ensures that her face isn’t revealed publicly. This is why, even though many fans and other celebrities have met her in person, there are no pictures of her face available online.
In 2024, Shylily debuted a new 2D model which consisted of a blue sailor uniform that complimented the ocra-cat hybrid’s beach residence. On February 17, Shylily announced that she would debut a 3D chibi model. While the model’s core details are similar to her regular model, it brings a miniature twist to the equation.
On February 23, Shylily displayed her chibi model, her second 3D model, during a live stream on Twitch.
Shylily’s chibi model is similar to her previous 2D model, and the biggest difference in their appearance is size. Her chibi model is significantly smaller, but viewers joked that her forehead is quite huge in comparison to the rest of the model.
The vtuber displayed her chibi model’s full body tracking in the stream and also explained that there was a bug that made her legs glitchy. She stated that this might be because she was streaming from a particularly small room, which could cause such an issue, and that she would do her best to fix it in the future.
Shylily displayed some face toggles of her 3D chibi model that reminded viewers of Henya the Genuis’s model. The vtuber’s eyes reflect the emotions she is feeling. For instance, Shylily’s eye can express love by displaying heart shapes. Other emotions are shown via her animated eyes accordingly.
Many iewers expressed their appreciation for Shylily’s new model and joked that now her vtuber model matches her real-life height. While the chat had the usual humorous banter through the new model display by Shylily, it was evident that fans were happy with the revised and smaller look.
Before she ended the stream, Shylily informed fans about new merch that would be available for pre-order soon. This includes a super warm hoodie, a cup with LED coster, Pixel Lily stickers and keychains, and some other items crafted for her fans.
