Sentinels caught many competing Valorant teams by surprise when it dropped Johnqt from the initiator role. With the team’s IGL now having more freedom to make his presence known with picks he’s comfortable with, both he and the previously forced sentinel Zellsis are now playing much better.
N4RRATE and zekken usually accrue the most frags on Sentinels, and the same will likely be true here. While Sentinels occasionally stagnates after dominating in a game’s pistol rounds, it comes back strong and uses its aggressiveness to catch the enemy off guard. With zekken playing duelist to set up entries for his teammates, bang and N4RRATE should get more than enough opportunities to showcase their excellent mechanical skills.

Cloud9’s OXY is the team’s only truly reliable player, with everyone else seemingly alternating between playing well and landing near the bottom of the scoreboard. The team’s biggest advantage going into this match will be that Sentinels doesn’t have to give it everything it has, considering the team is already qualified for the 2025 Champions event. But there’s a good chance Sentinels will take things here seriously enough to pick up the series, even if it’s not a smooth ride getting there.
