See the robot maid that took over Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2

Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 just got a whole lot weirder now that a robot maid has taken over the subathon.

Kai Cenat has pulled out all the stops for his Mafiathon 2 subathon with the goal of taking back his subscriber record on Twitch. While that was easily secured days ago, Kai Cenat still has a lot of antics planned with celebrities, artists, and other streamers all inside a massive mansion he’s renting. Fans were not expecting, however, one of the guests to be a robot version of the streamer himself.

What are the robot maids in Kai Cenat’s stream?

Are the Kai Cenat robot maids real?

On November 14, Kai Cenat revealed two robot maids that will assist him for the rest of the subathon. So far, the robots have been folding his laundry, brushing his teeth, and just about every other domestic chore around the mansion so Kai Cenat can focus on his streams.

Using a Segway-type set of wheels to get around, the robot maids are about the same height as Kai Cenat, with a human-like shape and movement with a LED screen on their faces to show emotions. Claiming to cost $24,000, are robots this advanced actually available to purchase?

During one moment of his subathon, the robot maid was given a chance to make a motivational speech.

“As for me, I’m embarking on a journey of my own, commissioned by 1X Technologies. Soon, Neo, the next generation of humanoid robots, will become part of homes everywhere. Not as mere machines, but as companions that give back time. Time for families to be together, for creators to create, and dreamers to dream bigger,” said the robot.

A quick search for 1X Technologies lands curious internet users on a homepage for Neo, which is being described as a “humanoid companion.”

Neo’s YouTube channel shows the company’s vision for the robot. It’s unclear, however, if Neo has full control and has reached the company’s goals just yet. Neo is just in beta right now and is still under development. Neo is allegedly being trained in real homes right now but it’s been confirmed that an operator stands nearby to guide the robot’s actions meaning there is currently “human oversight.”

It’s highly unlikely that the robots are functioning fully autonomously throughout Kai Cenat’s stream and doing all of these tasks without being pre-programmed. Still, the Neo robots are real. They’re just not quite ready for everyone else yet.
