Some bugs are expected for any new Valorant map, but the ones on Abyss are so game-breaking that players are avoiding the map entirely.
Valorant map Abyss introduces a unique death drop gimmick, setting it apart from other maps in the pool. This feature adds a competitive edge, requiring players to excel at parkour to navigate the Hourglass Kingdom. For those who aren’t as adept, a single wrong step can lead to a fatal fall into the pit. But, it turns out the pit isn’t just a mere death trap.
Thanks to a bug, Valorant agents like Yoru can turn the bottomless pit on Abyss into a ridiculous camping spot.
Valorant players have shared clips of Abyss bugs that allow Omen to pixelwalk in the sky and Yoru to camp at the bottom of the pit.
Apparently, Yoru’s ability to teleport allows him to fall into the pit and then land on a cliff. This game-breaking bug will enable him to save a weapon without the risk of dying. As long as this exploit works, players are recommended to avoid using the bridge on A site as it’s completely exposed to an Operator-wielding Yoru. Reddit user u/sucramnate grabbed this clip of someone abusing the bug. Even worse, there appear to be multiple setups for the Yoru bug.
That’s not the only bug, though. While Yoru is finding hiding spots in the pit, Omen is using his teleport to slide into the ceiling towards A site. This spot is less dangerous as Omen can easily get shot at if someone checks the wall. But, those who aren’t aware of the bugged wall may get unfairly killed.
From this angle, Omen has a clear view of the site, which means he can easily protect the spike if it’s planted for him. With a few flashes and team support, Omen will become invincible even if he gets spotted.
In both cases, the bridge is currently in the red zone, which means players must avoid it at all costs if the enemy team has teleporting agents. Both of these bugs are currently ruining games on Abyss for everyone other than Yoru and Omen players. Rest assured, they are significant enough that Riot will deliver a hotfix.
