Hololive is breaking dimensions with its second English concert later this month, are tickets are now available for both the live and streamed performances.
Vtuber concerts function mostly like watching the Jumbotron at a regular concert. Rather than seeing a tiny person in front performing, everyone is able to get a good view of the screen and larger-than-life virtual avatars. Hololive’s first concert took place in July of 2023, and fans since then have been clamoring for a second. Now, they need wait no longer.
Here are all the details known about the second English Hololive concert, Breaking Dimensions.
Hololive fans can get tickets for the real-life or virtual concert through the official Eplus ticket store.
Hololive’s Breaking Dimension concert will take place over August 24-25, with one date for a venue performance and the other for streaming. The concert will start at 6:00 pm on August 24 and 6:30 pm on August 25, both the live and virtual performances. The venue itself is the Kings Theater in Brooklyn. However, all tickets for the in-person event are currently sold out.
Hololive has listed streaming tickets for about $50 for one day and $90 for both. Additionally, all videos will be available to watch until September 26, or one month after the show airs. As the first concert became available earlier in 2024, it’s likely that Breaking Dimensions will also go online more permanently sometime next year.
The Breaking Dimensions lineup will feature four singers from Hololive with other vtubers making guest appearances.
Two members come from the aptly titled Chad Cast, a monthly podcast stream, with one special guest. Fans can expect to see and hear the following vtubers at the Hololive concert.
Unfortunately, Mori Calliope had to drop out after a scheduling conflict. Additional special guests include Kobo Kanaeru and Inugami Korone, with more to possibly come as the event nears. The streaming ticket site lists the members of all three generations of performers, but Hololive hasn’t directly confirmed if they will all be in attendance.
More information will be revealed via a YouTube stream that goes live on August 10 at 9 pm EST and will also feature a karaoke quiz. Any fans who want to attend the Hololive concert in person will have to keep refreshing and hope more tickets get added.
