s1mple and Niko go head-to-head in the IEM Cologne final

Nikola “Niko” Kovac and Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev will face off against each other in the grand final of IEM Cologne. The winner will walk away with 400.000$.

s1mple has been having an incredible tournament thus far. The Ukrainian superstar currently boasts a 1.56 HLTV rating at the event and seems like a guarantee for the MVP medal. Na’Vi won the last LAN event before lockdown hit, and seem set to continue where they left off.

Niko had a rough start to the year. He took over AWPing when kennyS left the lineup, only to relinquish it after a short while. Ever since he’s been trying to find his best form. At IEM Cologne, Niko has taken a big step in the right direction. But for G2 to win the event, he’ll have to take another in the grand final.
