Rosemi Lovelock is set for graduating from Nijisanji, here’s why

Nijisanji has announced that Rosemi Lovelock is graduating from the agency, and the vtuber has shed light on her reasons why during an ensuing livestream.

Rosemi Lovelock is a female English-speaking vtuber who debuted in 2021 as part of Nijisanji EN’s second-generation OBSYDIA, alongside Petra Gurin and Selen Tasuki. The vtuber instantly formed a bond with many viewers thanks to her sweet nature and soothing songs. While Rosemi primarily streams on YouTube in English, she has also done some French-language streams.

Rosemi Lovelock has been streaming with Nijisanji for approximately four years, but it appears things aren’t currently going well for her, and Nijisanji has surprised fans by announcing that Rosemi Lovelock is graduating from the agency.

Why is Rosemi Lovelock graduating from Nijisanji?

Rosemi Lovelock stated that she is graduating due to disagreements with Nijisanji management about her future.

Nijisanji tweeted its standard graduation announcement to inform fans of Rosemi Lovelock’s pending departure from the agency. The announcement stated the vtuber would graduate on August 29, and that Nijisanji appreciated that Rosemi’s wholesome nature brought smiles to the faces of fans. The agency thanked Rosemi for her contributions and asked fans to support her in her decision.

Rosemi Lovelock announced her graduation in a YouTube livestream, explaining to fans exactly why she was leaving and making the departure seem a bit less cheery than the agency’s announcement had indicated.

Rosemi stated that she couldn’t reach an agreement with Nijisanji management on how she should proceed and grow her content. The vtuber said she started streaming so she could bring smiles to people’s faces, but she had considered stopping streaming some time ago. Rosemi told fans she wished she could stay with them, and that if it were in her hands alone, she would stay. But it wasn’t to be.

The streamer described her time at Nijisanji as a life-changing experience and revealed that she initially didn’t think she be get selected at all, but was glad she had been. Rosemi informed fans that before her graduation, she will release collaborations and also new songs. A sequel to Detective Rosemi will also be released.

Rosemi Lovelock’s social media accounts will be made private on the same day as her graduation. All of her YouTube content will remain public after the vtuber’s graduation, except for her membership VODs.

Fans hope Rosemi Lovelock returns to her past life

Rosemi Lovelock has two past life personas that she used to stream with before joining Nijsanji, and fans are hoping she returns as either of them.

Nijisanji’s Rosemi Lovelock initially started her vtuber career as Fuzuki Miki, an independent vtuber. She eventually stopped making content as Miki, joined the US-based vtuber agency Tsunderia where she debuted as Kirihime Ria. Both Miki and Ria were retired when Rosemi Lovelock was created with support from the Nijisanji agency.

Fans want Rosemi to return to her past life, but the vtuber hasn’t confirmed whether she plans to continue streaming after she graduates from Nijisanji. Her given reasoning that for graduating being her disagreements with Nijisanji has fueled speculation that she could soon return as an independent vtuber with no ties to an agency.
