CS2 superstar ropz is OK after “bad crash” involving his Porsche

Vitality’s CS2 superstar Robin “ropz” Kool had a “bad crash” while driving his Porsche on September 10. While it seems that ropz totaled his luxury sports car, he walked out without a scratch.

After photos of ropz’s totaled Porsche surfaced on the internet, the Estonian took to X to say that he’s alright.

Hey people, had a bad crash yesterday at the track. Shit happens, sometimes it ends up like that. What matters is nothing happened to me, I’m as good as I stepped in the car beforehand. Shocked for now and disappointed about it, but nothing major we take the L and move forward.

Based on the image of the accident, it seems like ropz was driving his Porsche 911 GT3 RS. He bought that car after winning the BLAST.tv Austin Major in June. The Major was the perfect end for Vitality’s season, as they had won seven tournaments prior.

The price of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS varies, but it starts at $241,000. Besides this car, ropz previously bought a Porsche 911 Turbo S and an Audi RS5.

If you’re wondering how ropz can afford these luxuries, he made $608,000 for playing for FaZe plus the prize money, according to his 2024 income report, which is public in Estonia.

According to Esports Earnings, ropz earned just over $500,000 in prize money in 2025. There are also sponsorship deals on top of this, since ropz is one of the best CS2 players in the world.

Curiously, ropz struggled a bit after he bought the Porsche 911 Turbo S in 2024, and some fans joked the car was cursed, which he didn’t like.

I feel like it’s very personal. It’s a part of my life every day, and now people make fun of it. It’s not nice, but if people find it funny, it is what it is. I don’t find it funny.

When will ropz play again?

Fortunately for ropz, not only did he walk out without any injuries, but Vitality also don’t have any tournaments until ESL Pro League Season 22 in Sweden at the beginning of October.

So, he’ll have about three weeks to recover from the trauma, as ESL Pro League Season 22 kicks off on October 3rd.
