Uphold the law
Teyon and Nacon have revealed the first gameplay video for the upcoming first-person shooter RoboCop: Rogue City. Alongside that, they also unveiled that Peter Weller himself will play the titular RoboCop once more.
Despite only being a minute and thirty seconds long, the trailer squeezes in plenty of action. Mostly shooting. But heck, it’s an FPS. It’s what we expect.
After an opening sequence that sees an unruly gang toss a civilian out of a window, RoboCop gets to work. Aside from gunning down foes, we also see him throw them across the room when they get a little too close for comfort.
RoboCop: Rogue City’s gameplay looks promising
There’s also a brief section in RoboCop: Rogue City’s latest gameplay trailer where our hero takes out a mech by dropping concrete on it. So, we can expect some environmental kills here and there too.
The game takes place in Old Detroit and sees RoboCop embark on a journey looking for justice with his Auto-9 weapon by his side.
RoboCop: Rogue City is expected to release on PC in June 2023 with no specific day set in stone just yet. So, for now, we’ll just have to enjoy the gameplay trailer.
