ClutchPacks operates a site where you can buy and open mystery packs for random physical graded cards. We conducted a ClutchPacks review to confirm whether the platform is dependable, and you’ll discover our findings on this page.
To start with, ClutchPacks works in the US. The site supports sports, Pokémon, and One Piece packs, with most featuring hundreds of graded cards. When you rip a pack, you can ship the item to your location or sell it back and withdraw the funds. We’ve provided only a brief snapshot; continue reading to learn more about ClutchPacks.
At ClutchPacks, you have two main mystery pack categories: Sports and Trading Card Games. Sports is where you find packs with cards related to the NBA, NFL, soccer, and others. In Trading Card Games, you’ll see packs featuring Pokémon and One Piece cards. We didn’t find crypto mystery packs on the site.
As seen in our review, the ClutchPacks’ packs follow this specific pricing model:
| 🪐 Pack category | 💵 Price |
| Liftoff | $25 |
| Ignition | $50 |
| Ascent | $100 |
| Orbit | $500 |
| Galaxy | $1,000 |
From the descriptions, you can see that ClutchPacks models its platform after a spacecraft. For each pack, the lowest possible card value (Floor) is usually 20% of the price. Meanwhile, the highest (Chaser Ceiling) is 10x. To illustrate, the Floor for an Ascent pack is $20, while the Chaser Ceiling is $1,000.
When you purchase and rip a mystery pack, you get any of the graded cards it contains at random. We confirmed that all packs have four card categories based on the odds, including:
The exact odds depend on the pack and cards, but often range from 1% to 76%. In our Collectibles.com review, we saw something similar, with odds from around 0.1% to 60% for some packs.
As you’d expect, the highest-valued cards are Epic, while those with the lowest prices are Commons. You’ll see the exact cards and their worth on ClutchPacks before purchasing a pack.
For example, we bought the Multisport Liftoff pack for $25 and saw Epic cards valued at $120.01 to $250. Meanwhile, Commons were worth $5 to $30. For Chasers and Hits, the values were $50.01 to $120 and $30.01 to $50, respectively.
ClutchPacks also includes Series Hits in most packs, with cards usually worth up to $65,000. You can hit them any time at random.
You can add funds to your ClutchPacks account using credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, or crypto. When we deposited in our ClutchPacks review, the money was added to our balance within seconds. There was no delay.
If you rip a pack and don’t want to keep the card, you can instantly sell it back for 90% of its value. You can then withdraw the amount as cash or crypto. As such, while ClutchPacks doesn’t have packs containing digital coins or tokens, it supports crypto payouts.
That said, when using cryptocurrency, always check and choose the right network where applicable. For instance, with USDC, we observed that ClutchPacks only supports the Polygon network.
If you decide to ship, all you have to do is submit your address. ClutchPacks will handle the logistics and deliver the cards to your location. Based on our estimates, it may take a few days or up to a month.
ClutchPacks is transparent about its operations, which proved to us that the site is legit. The brand is owned and operated by Big Time Tech Ltd, but the cards are managed and delivered by Trace ‘n Chase.
Our research revealed that Trace ‘n Chase is one of the largest sports card distributors in Europe. The company also operates in the US with an address in Totowa, New Jersey, and its cards are properly graded and authenticated. Also, every pack is minted to the blockchain, so the ripping outcomes are random.
We consider ClutchPacks safe because the website uses SSL encryption to protect data. However, the platform’s security can improve by introducing two-factor authentication (2FA), as we saw in our Royale.GG review. There’s a privacy feature, though, and activating it makes you anonymous to other users.
Throughout our ClutchPacks reviews, we didn’t see a lot of bonuses or rewards on the site. As such, we didn’t find a ClutchPacks promo code. While the platform’s main promo is that you can instantly sell back ripped mystery packs for 90% of their value, it does have a risk-free pack offer as well. Each user can redeem one risk-free pack return and they can choose to sell it back to get the same value of the price they paid for the pack. The sell back proceeds are paid in USDC, and can be withdrawn.
On other mystery box sites we’ve tested, the situation is different. For instance, during our Cravin review, we found a 200% bonus plus a free box for new users. From our viewpoint, ClutchPacks doesn’t have promos because it focuses on packs with graded cards rather than mystery boxes with other item types.
We checked for a ClutchPacks app but didn’t find a native one. Instead, the platform offers a progressive web app (PWA) that you can install in your browser. We tested the PWA and found it convenient.
Whether you use the PWA or mobile site directly, you’ll appreciate ClutchPacks’ contemporary design. The brand uses a dark theme with interactive on-screen elements, and there’s a fixed bottom menu for fast browsing. We commend the option to favorite packs, making it easy to return later.
If you want to use ClutchPacks on a desktop device, the design and responsiveness are still the same. However, you’ll get a top menu and a wider interface with more visible packs at a glance.
At ClutchPacks, you can get help via live chat. From our tests, the platform uses a chatbot that welcomes you and asks you to leave a message. When you do, a real agent will take over the conversation within five minutes. Other available contact channels we found while making this ClutchPacks review include email and social media, especially Instagram.
The word simple fits ClutchPacks because the platform makes buying and ripping mystery packs easy. If you sign up, you won’t see a large collection of packs or boxes. Instead, ClutchPacks focuses on sports, Pokémon, and One Piece packs, offering a five-tier pricing model.
ClutchPacks doesn’t have packs with crypto-related items, but it lets you deposit and withdraw using USDC. Although there are no promos yet, the option to instantly sell back cards for 90% of their value is a notable advantage. As such, we can still recommend signing up with ClutchPacks. To get started, you can click the banners on this page and visit the site today.
