We are always on the lookout for little-known sweepstakes sites to test and report on so you know what to expect from them. Just the other day we did an Amazon Jackpots review, and here’s how it went.

Amazon Jackpots is a sweepstakes casino that offers eligible players access to freemium casino-style games among other services. As a sweepstakes casino site, it runs on a free-to-play model where you play the available games using virtual currencies instead of real money.
Like most sweepstakes casinos, Amazon Jackpots is powered by two virtual currencies, which it calls Gold Coins (GC) and Sweepstakes Coins (SC). Interestingly, during our Courtside review, we found virtual currencies with different names but similar functions.
That said, Amazon Jackpots’ GC are used for entertainment alone and are awarded to the site’s players via bonuses, promotions, gameplay, and optional GC pack purchases. They can’t be transferred between accounts and can only be used onsite.
You can also use the site’s SC to play your preferred Amazon Jackpots casino-style games. Once you sign up, the site awards you SC through bonuses, promotions, and your gameplay. You can’t purchase SC, but you can redeem your eligible SC for cash prizes. To request prize redemption, you’d have to meet the site’s 1x playthrough requirement and accumulate at least 100 SC that have met the playthrough requirements.

We found a little over 700 casino-style games that are provided by 20+ gaming studios. Most of the available titles in the game lobby are slots, but there are also fish shooting games and arcade games. That said, we didn’t find any online table games or live dealer games at the time of our review.

We also found an optional first GC pack purchase offer for new players. However, you don’t need to purchase GC packs thanks to the site’s free-to-play model. As we learned during our Gleaming Slots review, GC pack purchases should serve as a way to extend play sessions.
Finding our way around Amazon Jackpots wasn’t difficult. There are banners displaying the site’s offers at the top of the page, a search feature, and tabs that take you to different categories in the game library. To the left of the screen are more buttons that take you to different sections of the site.
The main game lobby is categorized by software providers and game features, so finding your preferred games is easy. Towards the bottom of the page is a list of software providers, and at the footer are links to the site’s documents and support, among other things.
All the tabs and buttons were highly responsive, and the games and web pages loaded quickly, thus increasing the site’s ease of use. The dark background and brightly colored game tiles are also reminiscent of the color schemes we observed during our TheBoss Casino review.
We didn’t find a dedicated Amazon Jackpots app at the time of review, but the site’s fully optimized for mobile browsers, so you can still use its services on the go. Simply type the site’s URL into your mobile browser and start playing. When we tested the mobile site on an Android smartphone, we had access to the same functionality and features available on the desktop version.
Similar to our experience during our CoinsBack Casino review, Amazon Jackpots supports optional GC pack purchases via cards (credit/debit), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. That said, the availability of the supported payment methods depends on your location, device, issuer, and browser. GC pack purchases are often fast, and the GCs are credited to your account once the transaction has been completed.
At the moment, you’d only be able to redeem your eligible SC for cash prizes via a valid debit card that’s registered in your name. Besides meeting the prize redemption requirements that we mentioned earlier, you must verify your profile before requesting prize redemption. The time it takes for your cash prize to get to you can be up to 72 hours.
During our time at Amazon Jackpots, we only found one support option: email. It takes up to 48 hours to get a response from the support team, but you’d still get a detailed and professional response. Live chat support is increasingly available at sweepstakes casinos, so we think Amazon Jackpots could have done better with its support.
The site also offers indirect support via its Help Center, which houses multiple articles. These articles cover different aspects of the site’s operations, including optional GC pack purchases, prize redemption, bonuses, and player eligibility requirements. It’s a good place to get information about how the site works before you start using its services.

There are a couple of reasons why we’d recommend the site to anyone who asked us. For starters, it’s easy to use on PC and mobile devices. Plus, new players get a decent bonus to get started with at the site. You’ll find lots of top slots and arcade games at the site, and its reward system keeps existing players engaged. Amazon Jackpots also supports fast and reputable options for GC pack purchases and prize redemption.
On the flip side, we think the customer support could be better, and the game library would be a lot more fun if it had table games and live dealer games.
