Nijisanji has announced that Reimu Endou is graduating from the agency, and her most loyal fans aren’t surprised as they’ve been awaiting the announcement for some time.
Reimu Endou was Nijisanji’s first Latin streamer, and she debuted in 2021 as part of the agency’s third wave, Ethyria, alongside Emma Alouette, Millie Parfait, and Nina Kosake. The vtuber primarily streams content in English, but is known to occasionally stream Spanish content as well. The streamer loves learning new languages and is fluent in a total of four languages already, including English, French, Japanese, and Spanish.
Reimu Endou has found much success with Nijisanji and has amassed over 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. On August 3, Nijisanji announced that the Ghost vtuber Reimu Endou is graduating from the agency. This didn’t surprise most of her followers as the vtuber has been hinting at her departure for some time.
Nijisanji announced in its statement that Reimu Endou will graduate from the agency on August 17.
Nijisanji tweeted the announcement and thanked the vtuber for her work with the agency over the past four years. The agency expressed its respect for all her achievements and wished her luck for the future. Nijisanji also stated that fan letters will be accepted till August 17, while the vtubers’s X account will be deactivated on August 18. Reimu Endou explained to fans during a stream that she hadn’t taken the decision lightly. She stated there was a lot of thinking that went into it, as well as meetings and even some pain while she was considering leaving the agency. She thanked her fans for supporting her throughout the ordeal despite knowing about her intentions to graduate, thanks to the repeated hints she dropped in the past.
Reimu stated that the timing of her graduation wasn’t entirely in her hands, despite the meetings she had taken with Nijisanji staff. She apologized to her fans and also canceled an upcoming stream to get herself together after what was apparently an emotional announcement for her.
Many fans have already begun speculating that the vtuber may return to her past life. Reimu Endou was MarieFD before she joined Nijisanji, and her past life’s social accounts are still active. It’s unclear whether Reimu will return to streaming as an independent vtuber, but fans are hoping that she does, and sooner than later.
