On Saturday, Nov. 29, Red Bull’s one-of-a-kind League of Legends spectacle, Red Bull League of Its Own, makes its return.
This Saturday, the SAP Garden, in Munich, Germany, will play host to reigning champions and global titans T1, who will face off against some of Europe’s most formidable (and entertaining) lineups, including G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, NNO Old, and fan-favourites Los Ratones, in a high-octane end-of-year showdown.
Set in the heart of Munich’s Olympic Park, the SAP Garden will transform into an electrifying esports battleground as reported 11,500 fans pack the arena, with many more tuning in from across the world on stream.
Every match will be played in the Ultimate Fearless Draft best-of-one format, making every game matter. With no champion bans and maximum strategic freedom, teams will be forced to think on their feet in matchups built for chaos, creativity, and spectacle.
The 2024 edition in Paris left fans hyped after T1 pulled off full-role swaps, Los Ratones delivered the upset of the night, and Martin “Rekkles” Larsson returned to the stage in style.
Red Bull League of Its Own 2025 is poised to build on that legacy, offering heightened competition and the kind of unforgettable moments that have made the event a highlight of the global League of Legends calendar.
This is a mix of the very best in Europe, and some of the biggest streaming teams. That’s a nice way of saying there might be some talent difference here. But not to worry, as this is definitely set to be an incredibly entertaining event anyway.
With Los Ratones recently announcing they won’t be returning to ERL’s in 2026, this could be the last chance to see these kind of low-stakes, high-entertainment matches. And we’re talking about two of the most fanatical fanbases in all of League of Legends in Karmine Corp and T1. If esports fans can be considered ultras, then the KC and T1 fans fit the bill.
Look: Don’t expect the most competitive games, but do expect entertainment, funny moments, and the possible huge upset.
