FaZe Clan streamer Rani “StableRonaldo” Netz’s girlfriend Boba broke up with him live on stream, and the reason behind her decision is sure to raise some eyebrows.
StableRonaldo is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch with a following of more than 3.6 million users. The streamer started his career by streaming Fortnite and saw a steep rise in popularity in 2020. Since then he has been streaming various types content, most notably including Just Chatting streams.
That’s not to say everything has been positive in his career. StableRonaldo has seen his share of controversies over the years, such as his beef with fellow streamer Richard “Ninja” Tyler Blevins. Now the streamer is in the news yet again and this time it’s because his girlfriend Boba broke up with him live on stream.
On January 8, 2025, Boba ended her relationship with StableRonaldo and broke up with him because of comments made by the streamer that showed apparent infidelity.
During the stream, StableRonaldo informed his chat that he was getting a call. When the streamer answered the call, viewers discovered it was his girlfriend Boba. As he answered her call, Boba asked him why StableRonaldo referred to her as “one of his girlfriends.”
StableRonaldo claimed he was being respectful when he said “one of” my girlfriends, but Boba cut him off and said that it was plainly disrespectful. Boba told him that they could break up as a result, said bye, and hung up on him.
The streamer reacted to this sarcastically, saying, “Oh no, I am broken up with.” His viewers commented on this and stated that Ronaldo didn’t really care that his girlfriend had just broken up with him. Some even claimed that his girlfriend was in the wrong and that she shouldn’t have ended the relationship so hastily.
Others said that the FaZe Clan member clearly didn’t respect women and that he had gotten what he deserved. The clip that made the rounds on social media started a deeper discussion among viewers about disrespect in relationships, and about Ronaldo’s apparent attempt at covering up his being potentially upset with the breakup.
The livestreamed confrontation between StableRonaldo and Boba suggests that the two really are broken up, as Boba hung up on Ronaldo after he referred to her as “one of” his girlfriends.
It’s possible that Boba may have said what she did in the spur of the moment thanks to a heated disagreement. But given StableRonaldo’s apparent lack of regret afterwards, it does seem unlikely that the two would reconcile and resume their relationship anytime soon.
