PUBG Mobile unveiled its largest collaboration to date last month as the game teamed up with K-pop girl group BLACKPINK.
If the collaboration wasn’t big enough, PUBG Mobile has just made it greater. The game showcased a promotion for ‘The Virtual’ in a new video at the New York Times Square.
The promotion at the New York Times Squares was unlocked by players themselves for tuning into the in-game BLACKPINK concert.
Actually, as a part of PUBG Mobile’s collab with BLACKPINK, the band hosted its first-ever virtual concert in the battle royale game. The concert was titled “The Virtual” and happened on July 29 and 30 for fans across the globe.
The most exciting part of the concert was that the band performed its upcoming single ‘Ready for Love,’ which has been created in partnership with PUBG Mobile.
Additionally, PUBG Mobile had given fans milestones, reaching which certain rewards were unlocked. These are as follows:
With the concert being a huge success, PUBG Mobile was able to record a peak viewership of more than 12.5 million viewers.
As a result, PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK’s collaboration hit the New York Times Square, featuring all four band members namely Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.
