Sony has announced the three free PS Plus games for October 2022. They will become available on October 4 for Playstation Plus members who hold Essential, Extra, or Deluxe/Premium plans. You can download these games from the PS Plus store for free and add them to your library any time before the end of the month, and play them as long as your subscription remains active.
Today, October 3, is the last day for PS Plus members to add September’s games – Need for Speed Heat, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, and Toem – to their library.
Sony will announce October’s free games exclusively for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog later this month.
While all three tiers were revealed in one go last month, they’ve reverted to the earlier system with the base tier games announced a week before release and the others later.
Let’s take a look at the PS Plus Games for October 2022.
Both PS4 and PS5 versions of this classic old-school toy racer will soon be up for grabs in the game store.
Players can compete against their friends in two-player split-screen, or play online against up to 12 opponents. You can build tracks, collect and customize your vehicles.
The arcade sim is now equipped with more modern features, like a track editor. Along with racing, you can also unleash your creative side by designing your own races, courses, or even boosters to challenge your rivals.
NetherRealm Studios, the creators of Mortal Kombat released this as a sequel to 2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2, available now free for PS4, picks up where it left off.
Several familiar faces feature in the combat-style action genre, a huge roster comprising some well-known superheroes and villains from the DC universe.
It remains a side-scrolling fighter, similar to its prequel. You can battle against other players locally or online or try the story mode to lead Batman’s charge against Superman’s oppressive regime.
Superhot puts a truly unique spin on the first-person shooter genre and is as bizarre as it is brilliant. Navigate through a polygonal world in fluid time, dodging slow-motion gunfire as you take down waves of oncoming enemies.
A single hit means death, and the absence of regenerative health bars means this game involves strategy and quick reflexes. Superhot will be available for PS4 users on the PS Plus store.
