Players to look out for at DPC SEA 2021/22 Tour 1: Regional Finals

The DPC SEA 2021/22 Tour 1: Regional Finals will begin on February 11 and culminate with the winner walking away with $50,000 and 250 DPC points.

Four teams have carved their way to this stage, namely, BOOM Esports, T1, Fnatic and Team SMG.

While every member of the team is as important as the other, we take a look at the players one should look out for heading into the regional finals.

Tims

MDL

Formerly of TNC Predator, currently playing for BOOM Esports, is one of the best position four players SEA has ever produced.

His impeccable Earthshaker plays are still fresh in our minds like it was just yesterday.

Tims is BOOM’s catalyst as he enables his team to gain an upper edge in team fights and provides his team with innumerable chances to gain significant advantage even during the laning stage.

Armel

DreamLeague

TNC’s former star mid player and one of SEA’s best, Armel, is a name barely anyone wouldn't recognise.

The high scaling mid laner well known to annoy his opponents and wreak havoc across all stages of the game is fearsome to say the least.

Joining Fnatic and bolstering their squad, Armel has quickly acclimatised himself with Fnatic’s playstyle and does so with perfection.

His decision making capability, during the most delicate of moments, adds another feather to his cap in terms of sheer playmaking ability.

MidOne

Epicenter

The Malaysian beast had some of the most wonderful years in Europe with Team Secret, accomplishing many milestones in the process.

After a successful stint of three years at Team Secret, MidOne joined OG Esports, but due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, his stint with OG was disrupted by being locked in different continents.

Going back to his roots, MidOne decided to continue his esports journey in SEA, and joined Team SMG in early 2021.

Struggling for almost the entirety of 2021, MidOne was finally able to taste some success by qualifying to the SEA Regional Finals after finishing top 4 in the DPC SEA 2021/22 Division I Tour 1.

It’ll be amusing to witness the former mid laner turned position 1 display his skills.
