In a video on the official social media channels of Marvel Rivals, the game released the trailer for Season 4. Marvel Rivals Season 4 will be the next season within the game. Within the trailer, fans got to see the two new heroes that will be added to the game: Angela and Daredevil. With Angela slated to release on the launch date of Season 4, here’s how fans have reacted to news of Angela coming to Marvel Rivals.
When Emma Frost was launched in the game during Marvel Rivals Season 3, it was quite a significant event. Everyone knew for a fact what Marvel Games were planning with the costume of the Hero. Concerning Angela, many see her as the Muscle mommy of Marvel Rivals. Fans on X have been really appreciative of the character design of Angela. A Redditor by the name of TotallyNotD4C stated that she is “Built like Ford F-150… It’s beautiful.” Ssimilar fan opinions are being amplified. Redditor nykopeeps stated that they hope the subreddit will act very normally towards her.

Following the release of the character design for Angela, many fans, such as Emotional_King_5239, are hopeful that if She-Hulk is added to the game, the designers will do justice to her comic book character.

The community is pleased to see the new hero, Angela. At the same time, some might forget that in Marvel Comics, she has a girlfriend. Finally, the Redditor Rap2rerise mentioned that the fact that Angela has an asymmetrical armor to match her single wing is an incredible bit of detailing by the game devs.

Within Marvel Rivals, Angela will be available to play from September 12th. Players will not need to spend any time or money to unlock the hero, as she will be free to play Season 4 onwards. She will be in the Vanguard class of Heroes. Although there isn’t much information available about all her abilities yet, she will be suited to a hero who prefers to play as a tank. Angela will be the 42nd Hero released within Marvel Rivals.
Angela is also known in the Marvel Comics as the one-winged angel of Asgard. She is the daughter of Odin and the sister of Thor and Hela. Within Marvel Comics, she was first introduced in 1993 in the Image comic named Spawn. Following a major IP battle between the writers concerning the character, the rights to her character were acquired by Marvel. Then, in 2013, she made her debut in the Marvel Comics series Age of Ultron, a popular comic series. Interestingly, since then, we haven’t seen the angle from Asgard in any comic or MCU movie.
