


PGL will host the second CS2 Major of 2026 in Kallang, Singapore, the Romanian tournament organizer announced. The event will run from November 25th to December 13th and will see teams fight for their share of the $1.25 million prize pool.
This marks the return of the most prestigious CS2 tournament to Asia after the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, which was the first Asian Major ever. Now, PGL will organize the first Major in Southeast Asia.
PGL is no stranger to Singapore, having organized several Dota 2 events there, including the prestigious The International in 2022. The country is happy to welcome the Major in 2026, said Jean Ng, the assistant chief executive from the Singapore Tourism Board.
Singapore has been host to exciting esports events such as The International, the largest DOTA 2 esports event in the world, and we look forward with much anticipation to hosting our first Counter Strike Major in 2026, which will reinforce Singapore as a world-class events destination
As one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Counter-Strike scene, the event promises to attract fans from around the region, and we invite them to also enjoy Singapore’s lifestyle experiences and vibrant energy.
The PGL Singapore Major will follow the same format as the previous Majors, including the current StarLadder Budapest Major. Three Swiss group stages open the competition, and the top eight teams will play the playoffs at the 12,000-capacity Singapore Indoor Stadium.
PGL organized three CS:GO Majors in the form of PGL Kraków 2017, PGL Stockholm 2021, and PGL Antwerp 2022. The Romanian tournament organizer hosted the Copenhagen Major 2024 and subsequently ran multiple events in 2025.
Before the PGL Singapore Major, the teams will head to the IEM Cologne Major halfway through 2026. Cologne will host its first Major since 2016 and the event is already sold out.
