All favorites pulled through in the PGL Bucharest 2026 quarterfinal, setting up one of the best semifinal brackets possible. If you’re looking for some valuable CS2 bets, here are our PGL Bucharest 2026 semifinal predictions.
The Danes take on the French in the first semifinal matchup of PGL Bucharest 2026.
Astralis have looked great in the past few months, and they’re carrying their form here in Bucharest. After a strong 3-0 Swiss Stage, Astralis took on EYEBALLERS in the quarterfinal.
The Danish org entered the EYEBALLERS match as heavy favorites, but the series was surprisingly close. The Swedes managed to take a map and really made Astralis work for the win. Still, Astralis look in great form and are main contenders to make it to the grand final.
On the other side, we have 3DMAX, who are coming off a win against MIBR. The French lineup did secure the victory with a 2-1 scoreline, but it wasn’t too convincing.

3DMAX are one of the teams that failed to qualify for the IEM Cologne Major, so they are motivated to make PGL Bucharest count. We might see them pull out their pocket strats for this matchup since there’s no longer any point in saving them.
Still, when we look at recent form and track record, Astralis are clearly the favorites here. 3DMAX are also going into the match with a heavy veto disadvantage.
With these reasons, we believe 3DMAX are in big trouble. We believe Astralis will take a comfortable win, with a 2-0 also on the cards.
The second semifinal matchup of PGL Bucharest 2026 is set up to be a banger. Two young squads face off for a spot in the grand final.
FUT Esports are a team on the rise, taking a 2-0 victory against B8 in the quarterfinal, though both maps were down to the wire. Still, based on FUT’s results over the past few months, their deep runs are no fluke.
FUT is a squad with some insane aimers, and they’re only getting better. With the likes of Team Vitality, Team Falcons, and Team Spirit out of the picture, there aren’t many teams at this event who can stop them.

One candidate however could halt FUT’s dream run is TheMongolZ. The Mongolian squad took out the best CS2 team at the tournament – PARIVISION, sending them packing after a 2-1 victory.
It was a scrappy series, with TheMongolZ mounting a huge comeback on the decisive map. They were down 3-9 at halftime and won 10 rounds in a row to win the map 13-9.
The CS2 betting odds label this series as a near 50-50 affair, and we completely agree. Both teams depend on their mechanical prowess and individual form, so we believe it will come down to which team shoots better on the day.
It’s very tough to call which team will win outright, but we’re expecting a close series that will go the distance. As a result, we’re skipping the match winner market and going for over 2.5 maps.
