If you’re tired of watching Team Vitality steamroll every team in a tournament, PGL Bucharest 2026 is an event you don’t want to miss out on. We have many fresh faces in the playoffs, making it perfect to place valuable CS2 bets. Here are our PGL Bucharest 2026 playoff predictions.
After five days of Swiss Stage action, the teams at PGL Bucharest 2026 are whittled down to only eight. The tournament survivors are seeded into a single-elimination bracket, meaning one loss and you’re out.
Here are the teams and matchups you can expect to see at the event:

The first matchup features MIBR taking on 3DMAX. In 2026, MIBR signed a new in-game leader in the form of LNZ and are looking like a more refined squad. After an early loss to Astralis in the first round, MIBR won three matches in a row, taking down the likes of BC.Game and Legacy in the process. Overall, they’ve beaten some very notable teams and are looking in solid form.

3DMAX enters Bucharest as one of the more reputable teams in the tournament. We often see them playing in top events, even putting up good fights against the best CS2 teams in the world. In Bucharest, 3DMAX also went 3-1, but the main highlight here is the French squad taking down tournament favorites PARIVISION 2-0. It was a convincing victory, as 3DMAX didn’t let PARIVISION break past double digits on both maps.
Based on track record and current form, we’re leaning towards 3DMAX taking this series. However, MIBR certainly have the potential to make this close and at least take a map.
Astralis’ international squad will be taking on EYEBALLERS’ Swedish lineup in the second round of the playoffs.
The Danish-backed squad have looked stellar at the event so far. They finished the Swiss Stage with a flawless 3-0 record, even taking down TheMongolZ in extremely dominant fashion. Even before Bucharest, Astralis have already looked like a top ten team in the world.

Looking to upset Astralis are EYEBALLERS, a squad playing in their first Tier 1 LAN event in a while. They had a rocky road to the playoffs, barely ending the Swiss Stage with a 3-2 record. It’s also worth noting they received a free win in their first match, as FaZe couldn’t attend the series. Overall, they’re huge underdogs.
As much as we like seeing JW back to playing in a big event, we believe EYEBALLERS will have their run ended here. Astralis are looking way too good, and we even expect them to make it to the grand final. This should be an easy win for the Danish org.
FUT Esports are the second team at the event to finish 3-0. They beat PARIVISION with a clean 2-0 victory to earn their spot as a top seed. FUT are currently the highest-rated team at the event at 1.21. It’s safe to say they’re a top contender at this event and are poised for a deep run.

We can’t really say the same for B8. They finished the Swiss Stage with a 3-2 record and the only notable team they beat were Legacy. B8 were able to take maps off 3DMAX and Astralis, showing some decent promise.
Unfortunately, we simply can’t favor B8’s chances in this series. FUT are a proven squad and are looking immaculate at this event. B8 might take a map, but we have FUT winning this series all the way.
The most anticipated matchup of the first round, or even the entire event, is right here. The two CS2 betting favorites are forced to clash earlier than they’d like.
Aside from an uncharacteristic loss to Astralis, TheMongolZ are looking solid. They aren’t the cleanest team in the world, but they’ll get the job done with their scrappy gameplay. Though they don’t look like they’re in peak shape in the Swiss Stage, they’ll usually turn up for the playoffs.

On the other hand, we have PARIVISION, who are the highest-ranked team at this event. These guys can go toe-to-toe with Team Vitality, but sometimes, they can look like a total trainwreck, and we’re seeing the latter at this event. PARIVISION’s run in the Swiss Stage was anything but inspiring, but as long as they make it to the playoffs, they always have a chance.
This matchup is pretty much the early grand final, and the winner of this series has a great chance of taking the entire event. In terms of recent form, we’d slightly favor TheMongolZ. However, the smartest bet here could potentially be over 2.5 maps.
