PGL has announced the opening matches for the upcoming PGL Antwerp Major. The event will start with the Challengers stage on May 9th with the clashes between Vitality and Complexity, and G2 and Liquid are headlining the opening round.

The teams will play in a Swiss stage, with the two first rounds being a bo1. Once a team reaches qualification- or elimination point, they will play a bo3 series.

The Legends stage sees a combination of fan favorites and underdogs enter the server. Teams like Vitality, G2, Astralis, and Liquid will be eyeing a spot as Legends, while others such as Eternal Fire, Bad News Eagles, IHC, and 9Z want to leave a good impression in their first-ever Major.
