On Thursday, reports surfaced that Imperial is looking to replace two-time Major winner Lincoln “fnx” Lau, with the most likely incoming being MIBR star Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes.
As reported by Blix.gg, they will also be looking to replace Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu, the famed coach who has been with them since the formation of their roster.
The Brazilian coach joined Imperial’s roster at the start of the year, as the organization signed the Last Dance roster.
peacemaker has built a reputation as a journeyman during his career, as he has enjoyed relatively short stints on several teams.
Since impressing thanks to almost finishing top 8 at the PGL Major Antwerp – a tournament peacemaker wasn’t present at, thanks to an ESIC ban – Imperial has had a string of disappointing results. With early departures at Pinnacle Cup and IEM Dallas, while also failing to make IEM Cologne 2022 after missing out at the play-in.
