PARIVISION has defeated Nigma Galaxy in the grand finals of PREMIER SERIES too take home $50,000 of the $100k prize pool of one of the most surprisingly stacked Tier 2 tournaments we’ve seen in 2026.
In a rollercoaster tournament that saw Team Liquid eliminated by Nigma, GamerLegion go 4-0 in groups against a Yellow Submarine team that was enhanced by the substitution Team Falcon’s Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, and other twists and turns, PREMIER SERIES climaxed with a 3-0 sweep, as if to remind us that this was a second tier tournament after all.
The Premier Series tournament, organized by former BetBoom and CIS Battle organizer, NarodCast, delivered some surprisingly intense action, with Tier 1 calibre teams taking on some of the best up and coming talent in the Tier 2 scene.
The tournament even saw Group Stage team Nigma Galaxy survive a lower-bracket run to take on some of the direct-to-playoff seeded teams such as Team Liquid, Team Spirit, MOUZ and, of course, PARIVISION.
Nigma Galaxy managed to vanquish Team Spirit in a shock upset, before falling to the lower bracket and defeating Team Liquid in another upset. Meanwhile PARAVISION cruised to the finals undefeated, clearly still with a chip on their shoulder from some of the disappointments of the past few months.
PVISION had struggled at DreamLeague Season 28, and crashed out of ESL One Birmingham 2026 in 4th. And we won’t even mention their PGL Wallachia showing…
Still, in the Grand Finals of PREMIER SERIES, and indeed for the entire playoffs, this looked like the team we’ve come to expect the best from. In a 3-0 stomp (a 5-0 record against them across the tournament) PARIVISION schooled Nigma Galaxy on what really being a Tier 1 team looked like.
However, this tournament was a welcome moment of levity for Nigma Galaxy fans. After not even making out of the qualifiers for several events, this recent performance has been a breath of fresh air. While the 0-3 defeat certainly tells a tale, Nigma Galaxy could still carry this momentum into their DreamLeague Season 29 closed qualifiers tomorrow.
