Casper “cadiaN” Møller is OG’s new IGL, the organization announced on November 11th.
The move sees the former Astralis captain return to competition after spending the past six months on the sidelines. CadiaN’s stock is at an all-time low after failing stints with Astralis and Team Liquid; however, OG might be just the perfect opportunity for him.
He will get to be an AWPer IGL, which he couldn’t be at Astralis, as Astralis already had an AWPer in Nicolai “device” Reedtz. The switch to rifler was too big a change for cadiaN, who struggled in terms of individual impact.
The other good thing about OG is that there is no pressure to compete against the very best CS2 teams in the world immediately. CadiaN will be able to take things step by step, with a core of younger players.
With cadiaN’s addition, OG hopes that they’ll do well enough to qualify for the IEM Cologne 2026 Major after missing StarLadder Budapest.
The organization benched Christoffer “Chr1zN” Storgaard, its previous IGL, and Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi, its previous AWPer, to accommodate cadiaN. It remains unclear who will be OG’s fifth, though.
OG’s CEO Xavier Oswald described cadiaN’s signing as a “statement of intent.”
Bringing cadiaN to OG is not just a roster move, it’s a statement of intent. We are setting the foundations for a new era, one defined by leadership, passion, and excellence. cadiaN embodies everything we want OG CS to stand for: ambition, emotion, and the constant pursuit of greatness.
Our goal is clear: to reignite OG’s Counter-Strike project with the same fearless energy that has always defined us. With cadiaN’s leadership and the team we’re building around him, we’re ready to climb higher than ever before.
OG recently underwent massive organizational changes as a result of Chilliz Group acquiring a 51% controlling stake.

Undoubtely, cadiaN is one of the players who suffered the most with the switch from CS:GO to CS2. And he talked about it after OG announced his signing.
The last two years, and my transition into CS2 has been very difficult. No doubt that circumstances has been tough, and there has been many reasons for the lack of success – however one thing is for sure, I am yet to find my groove in the new game.
I still believe I have a lot to give, and my main goal is to be a part of a team with aligned vision, great ambitions and with mutual respect. With this I am hoping to find my old form, the cadiaN that you all know.
It’s currently unclear when cadiaN will make his debut for OG as the organization is still trialing “several players” to finalize its CS2 roster ahead of 2026.
