The vtuber Vox Akuma and Nijisanji levied accusations against an NFT project for allegedly using the vtuber’s copyrighted content, but now there is more development about the claims.

Nijisanji has been in the news for multiple reasons recently. Varying from the graduations of talent such as Hex Haywire to falling stock prices. However, something that caught the attention of fans was the allegations against an NFT project called Claynosaurz. Nijisanji alleged the company committed copyright infringement by using the content of their vtuber Vox Akuma.

However, there are some new developments in the claims that can help fans learn what the truth is. The vtuber agency seems to have backtracked from the claims, causing worry among fans.

Nijisanji claimed that Claynosaurz Inc. used Vox’s content in their videos and reported the videos for copyright infringement.

Vox Akuma claimed that Claynosaurz Inc. used the som Mountain Whales from his movie The Demon Hungers. After seeing the videos, the vtuber and Nijisanji reported the NFT project’s videos for allegedly violating copyright.

This caused social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and others to take down the offending videos. However, after investigating some information came to light that changed everything.

Did Claynosaurz steal a song from Akuma Vox?

Nijisanji posted its findings of the copyright claim of Akuma Vox’s song on their X account, announcing that the claim against Claynosaurz was wrong.

Nijisanji tweeted on its X account that the music in question wasn’t Vox’s property so Claynosaurz didn’t violate any copyright. The vtuber agency further elaborated that the music used in the videos of Vox and the NFT project was purchased from a third party.

Nijisanji also shared that it has contacted the social media companies to withdraw the copyright infringement claim and the videos should be reinstated. The vtuber agency offered its apologies to Claynosaurz and anyone else who was affected.

The vtuber Vox Akuma apologized to Claynosaurz and fans for mistakenly accusing the NFT project of stealing his music.

Nijisanji vtuber Vox made a post on X to apologize and express his deep regrets over the Claynosaurz copyright claim. The vtuber stated that when he saw the video he incorrectly assumed it was his music. He claimed that the fact that music was sold by a third party slipped his mind.

The streamer apologized multiple times for wrongfully concluding that Claynosaurz unjustly used his music. He further elaborated that he was thankful for the understanding and forgiveness of the NFT project.
