Apex’s first collection event of the season is Double Take, and with it comes a new list of rewards for players to score.
As a top battle royale game, Apex continually adds new events and skins to keep things fresh and engaging. Their last collection event ended in early January of 2024 and added Loba’s Prestige skin set as a mythic reward. Notably, the Legend Alter has caused this season’s event by creating an alternate reality. Many Legends will thus appear as complete opposites to their usual style.
The Double Take collection event runs from June 25 to July 9, meaning players have two weeks to earn all 24 unlockable rewards.
Players can complete the Double Take rewards track in Apex Legends to earn a number of limited-time cosmetics, including legendary skins and a new mythic skin.
By participating in challenges, gamers can earn up to 1,400 points a day to unlock both major and minor rewards. Everything additionally stacks with the Battle Pass, allowing for more efficient point accumulation.
The big ticket item for the Double Take collection event is the mythic Prestige set for Lifeline called Apex Corruptor. With her new skin, she can use her drone to pull out its cables and attack with them through a finisher known as RidDOCulous. Players can only unlock Apex Corruptor by completing the rewards track. Once they do, they can earn 1.5x towards special prestige skin challenges.
Along the way, fans can rack up legendary skins for the following legends through the Double Take rewards track. Additional rewards include currently unspecified minor cosmetic updates.
For those who would rather buy than grind, other limited-time items like the Firewalter Fitzroy and Malware Maelstrom bundles will be available in the Apex store starting June 25.
Players can purchase an Upheaval season battle pass through the Apex Legends in-game store using Apex coins.
While there are free rewards, anyone wishing to access new legendary skins or the Lifeline prestige set will have to purchase the premium battle pass. The premium pass costs 950 coins, or a little under $10.
Regardless of which pass players pick for the Double Take rewards track, all rewards are permanent once earned.
