A prominent Valorant leaker has revealed new Pride 2024 rewards for Valorant, and everyone can grab it for free.
Valorant has had Pride rewards since June 2021, which is LGBTQ+ Pride Month in the United States. Every June, players can get the Pride bundle for free, which includes eight player cards, a gun buddy, and several different player titles that have changed over the years. The player cards have included representation of transgender, non-binary, gay, pansexual, homosexual, bisexual, and asexual people in the past.
June 2024 looks like it’s adding a new gun buddy and player title to the lineup.
2024 Pride rewards are supposedly adding a new title, “Better Together,” and a new gun buddy, a Tactibear holding a heart with a ton of pride colors in stripes on it.
Like previous years, the new pride rewards will more than likely be available for free in the Store throughout June. The new rewards will probably only be available in June. They may not return next year as new player titles or gun buddies are added to the collection.
Before 2024, players have complained that the Pride rewards in Valorant have been low-effort and pretty standard. The Tactibear offers a unique, Valorant-tailored gun buddy that hopefully players will be happy with. Others are still holding out hope for a more personalized gun buddy collection, specifically ones that match each banner instead of a one-size-fits-all option.
However, the Pride collection for Valorant includes only one other gun buddy in a rainbow Valorant icon, which uses a color scheme representing the entire community. In this way, the gun buddies indicate the whole LGBTQ+ community, while the banners provide a more personal touch.
There’s been no official announcement from Riot Games about the new additions to the pride collection, but ValorLeaks is a reliable data miner who shares things he finds in the code of Valorant. Besides cosmetics, the account also releases information about patches and nerfs/buffs.
