Trunks may soon join the fray as Fortnite leaks reveal a new Dragon Ball collab on the horizon.
Fortnite’s list of crossovers is so massive that the game is doubling back on some of its biggest collaborations. We’ve seen it with Star Wars, Marvel, Rick & Morty, and more. The Dragon Ball event was successful enough to warrant multiple returns, and it seems the next one will feature yet another Super Saiyan. Here’s everything we know about Trunks in Fortnite, from the leaks hinting at him to what characters he could appear with.
The news comes from Fortnite leaker Wenso. The insider previously revealed the My Hero Academia leak weeks before Epic Games confirmed that collab. Wenso claims to have been told about Trunks sometime last year, possibly before the Frieza and Cell Fortnite crossover. Considering Trunks’ history with these characters in the show, the timing wouldn’t be a coincidence.
If the leaks are true, it will probably take some time for Trunks to appear in the shop. Upcoming confirmed Fortnite collabs include My Hero Academia and Fall Guys. Similar rumors are swirling for Devil May Cry, Doctor Who, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Epic needs to get through those possible collabs before returning to Dragon Ball.
If Epic Games does spring for a fourth Dragon Ball collaboration with Trunks, who else from the series could appear in Fortnite?
Here’s a list of all the Dragon Ball characters currently in Fortnite.
Epic generally keeps a theme with its crossover packs. The first four represent the main case of Super. Son Gohan and Piccolo are a frequent pair while the last three are all major villains.
Trunks is one of the main squad members from the Dragon Ball Z series. It would make sense for other Z Fighters to show up alongside him. Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien Shinhan are all possible picks. Fortnite could also pull other characters from the Z Saga. If so, Androids 17, 18, and 19 are obvious choices.
Fortnite fans will have to wait for Epic to confirm the collab before revealing the rest of the characters.
