Na’Vi secure playoff spot, ENCE send packing at PGL Major

Natus Vincere has locked in their spot in the playoffs at PGL Stockholm. The tournament favorites dismantled NIP 2-0. Mouz send ENCE home, staying alive in the event.

Na’Vi continues to look unbeatable at the PGL Major. On paper, NIP should be one of the biggest challengers for the title, but the Swedes fell short of pushing Na’Vi to the limit.

Na’vi started strong on Nuke, securing the first six rounds of the map. NIP managed to recover but completely collapsed in the second half. A 16-9 send NIP to the second map with doubts.

These doubts must have gotten bigger when NIP once again started slow on Overpass, falling behind 6-1 before they were able to muster some a fight. A strong start to the second half seemed to be the turning point, but Na’Vi remained clinical in their approach.

Once Na’Vi cracked the code to NIP’s defense, they quickly reached the 16 rounds needed to secure a playoff birth.

Mouz send ENCE home in two

Mouz has saved their tournament live by convincingly beating ENCE. The Dexter led roster won their map pick of Mirage with a landslide 16-5, before sealing ENCE’s faith on Vertigo with another 16-10 win.
