Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere has announced it has extended Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev’s contract. The AWPer is now signed until the end of 2025.
S1mple joined NAVI in the summer of 2016, following a mixed stint at Team Liquid. The Ukrainian superstar led his team to several trophies, most notably the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major, an Intel Grand Slam in 2021, and several iterations of both IEM Katowice and Cologne.
Since joining NAVI, s1mple was dubbed the highest-rated player by HLTV on two occasions, in 2018 and 2021. He also overtook Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz as the player to secure the most MVP medals in the history of CSGO.

In 2020, both s1mple and Denis “electroNic” Sharipov signed two-year contracts with NAVI. The superstar duo was seen as the future of the organization, and the extension would eventually lead to a Major trophy.
But while s1mple has now been confirmed to stay with NAVI for three more years, electronic’s future is still up in the air.
Transitioning to the role of in-game leader in the spring as Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov departed the roster, he sees himself without a contract in a couple of months if nothing changes.
