MOUZ are set to take on NAVI in the quarter finals of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. As the only Romanian player to advance to the playoffs, Mihai “iM” Ivan will be aiming to make a deep run on home soil, but MOUZ have plans of their own. Here are our MOUZ vs Navi predictions for this match.
MOUZ aren’t doing much to shake off their nickname of being “studio merchants.” With the Swiss Stage played in a studio environment, MOUZ did their best work and delivered some clean Counter-Strike gameplay.
Aside from a loss to Team Vitality, which is nothing to be ashamed about considering they are the best team in the world, MOUZ made light work of their other group stage opponents. They cruised through the Swiss format with a strong 3-1 record, with all of their individuals shooting well.

Yes, they had a great group stage run, but that’s nothing new for this lineup. They always look sharp in the early stages of the tournament. But the real question is whether they can slay their demons and replicate that performance into the playoffs, which will be played on a big stage.

NAVI had an arduous journey through the Swiss Stage, barely scraping through with a 3-2 record. They suffered losses to MOUZ and The MongolZ, but looked great against the likes of Aurora and Astralis.
In the decisive 2-2 match for all the marbles, NAVI faced G2 in a series that really tested their nerves. They were trailing on both maps, but mounted mind-blowing second-half comebacks each time.

On the first map, G2 led 7-5 at the half, then NAVI stormed back to close it 13-7, losing zero rounds in the second half. On map two, G2 were ahead 9-1, but NAVI won 12 rounds in a row to win the map 13-9. These results meant Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and company did not drop a single round in the second halves of both maps, showing good resilience and finding solutions despite being down.
And with iM being the only Romanian left in the tournament, the rest of the team is looking to propel him to the best run possible.
The two teams have already met in the Swiss Stage, where MOUZ dominated the matchup with an easy 2-0 victory.
However, NAVI enter this series with a veto advantage. Their perma-ban is Overpass, which also happens to be MOUZ’s most successful map. In their previous meeting days ago, NAVI opted for Inferno, but we believe they will pivot to Ancient to improve their chances.
If NAVI pick Ancient, we really fancy their chances on that map. They have a 100% win rate on Ancient over the past three months across five matches. In all five, NAVI never conceded double digits. On the other hand, MOUZ have played Ancient only once in that span, winning 13-9 against NRG.
Still, over the course of a full series, we still favor MOUZ. They look sharper and more consistent overall. Even if NAVI find success on their map pick, MOUZ should have enough firepower and structure to close out the series.
